You have been a million times more helpful with these videos then the reps at piaggio. I have learned more from you on youtube then I did in the Piaggio Tech training. Thank you for just being you! This particular video helped me a ton.

Saved me! I've had a problem for a couple of months where the vespa would get up to 35kph and just lose acceleration power. I checked everything, cleaned filters, cleaned the fuel injector, replaced the rollers which were a little flat - all with no improvement. Then I came across this video and reset my ASR and boom - it's faster than it's ever been! I purchased the vespa second hand and it feels faster than it ever has since i bought it. There must have been something wrong with it from the start. Now I can do wheelies on take off. :D Thanks!

BIG thinks for this, Robot. Have a 2015 GTS300 Super (which I love), and while I'm happy to have a model with ABS/ASR, it's good to know the particulars of the systems on the bike. On an extracurricular level, it's also nice to have had you demonstrate that, yes, you CAN chirp the tires on a Vespa if you want to...although most Vespisti have little need to show off like that. :-)

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Robot. GREAT video! Even the Vespa service centre here have no idea why my 2019 Vespa GTS300SS was under powered. First, they changed the back tire. 2 weeks later, same issue, they changed the front tire. Then it got worse. Under powered AND ... swaying. Now, they said it could be the problem with my shock absorbers. Too soft they say. I gonna recalibrate the ASR tomorrow. (it's 2 am now) Pretty sure that is the problem. Again, thanks. Will let you know if it worked.

Thanks for the info Robot. Do you need to ride that 500 to 1000 feet without touching the brakes or stopping at an intersection? Is it a straight slow ride on the flat or can you go up or down a hill? Thanks for any input or knowledge on this?

Hey, do you have a video on how to calibrate the asr/asb system after a wheel change on a vespa 300 2015? Just changed mine and tried following the manual, but it won't work, and nearest dealer I have is about 200 miles from my town... thanks a bunch!

Nice to know that about resetting. Never realised it would be that sensitive with tyre pressure.
Is it possible this would kick in if you increase pressure for going two up? (Esp if you have converted to MP3 rims)

On my 2016 GTS Super to turn off the ASR you just press the starter button for 2 seconds. IF you also pull the brake switch at the same time you will enter the reprogramming mode per the owner's manual.

    Hi ROBOT
I just changed fro 12" to 13" rims on my vespa GTS 300. The mechanic machined the holes in the used 13" rim to mount the ABS plate.
The issue is now everyime after about 15 km the rear rim and Tyre gets so hot you can't touch it for more that 2seconds. The wheel spins fairly freely when on stand. Have you faced this, what may be the issue?
