Thank you showing our beautiful country to the world. Free minded people like you can enjoy what many interesting things Ethiopia have with no strings attached.
Just love your humbleness and kindness, so good with the culture as if you know them all. Selam, Endet neh, Selam makes all the difference and you have ways with people as a teacher. You are an Ethiopian😀
Great video. The Highlight of this video is 11:40 when you met your previous security guard, the way he hugs you tells about you a lot. As I expected, you are a very nice person. Ethiopians if they don't like you, they don't hug you like that. Be blessed more and more.
Gebru is a great human being, we had a goo friendship when I lived there, I always tried to take care of him and his family. Thank you for your support!
I liked how you came back to visit your old neighbourhood ..... And Mr. Gebru seems like an amazing person, shows how kind you were to him during your stay. You should take him to lunch or sth.
Im from Addis abeba it’s been 6 years since I came in America watching your videos take me back to Ethiopia I love your videos and your manners thank you so much ❤
I love your interactions. You seem to have picked up on the nuance of saying selam with good timing and cadence which comes off as both respectful and friendly. I also enjoyed your tweaking of English to make for easier understanding when speaking with the sewoch. You’re a gentleman!
it is good to turn back to remember for rmemory me to from Addis this is the Town where i born and Kasanchis my sefer wenn i was a kid i grow up there i missed my home land Ethiopa.😍😀😀😘
I watched Your Ethiopia travel vlogs and they are descriptive and helpful. Thank you 🙏 Also nice to see old neighbourhood&friendly community, It brings happiness.
I came across your channel just yesterday and I've been watching it continuously...i woke up and hey..I'm still on it 😁. I really appreciate and love how you're introducing my hometown Addis..and your Amharic pronunciation is too cute 👍🏻😊 Much love from a sister in Addis 💞
Nice Video mate! One of the many new and old neighborhoods in Addis. Distinct on it's own. Loved by the Folks who built it and grew in it and gave birth to their children in that Sefer. The Kes Bets, Kindergardens, School, Churchs, Mosques, Cemetery, Kiosks, Bars and Restaurants, Tej Bet, etc.. That gives a strong sense of Belonging. And I think that is a common experience all people in Addis have and those from Addis in the Migration.. Nostalgia included :)
Hey Myer recently I watch your video a lot because of where I am from Speacaly this video i born in kasanchs I love that Area you remind me back in a days and right now I live in USA keep doing what you are doing also the way you approach people is amazing . Great videos and clearly we can see it . Thank you brother
Welcome home brother! I get much humble from your video series and enjoyed it. God blesses you and your family. Meet your students and staff please; for sure they will be very glad.
Poor Gebru hugged you and kissed you like a child who misses his dad, I hope you will show us your country Pakistan in the next video, great vid as usual, and thanks 🙏
@@eastafricatotheworld No, I think Im getting it correct. You are describing "poor gebru" as the older security guard. And it is wrong to paint him as a child who misses his dad.
Yes I am aware in Cali they do collect them, but in Addis it is a very common car to have, it is not uncommon to see classic cars all the time. Their resourcefulness with the old vehicles is fascinating. Gebru is a great human being, I always make sure to take care of him and fam. Thanks for the support!
Appreciate you for living in that neighborhood like a true local lol. I used to hang out in that neighborhood. It’s not a place you associate with an expat unless you live closer to the eca /au hq.
Thanks for showing some parts of Addis :) Try showing the richest part of Addis as well hahaha people who never been in Addis may get a wrong picture of Addis :) Enjoy Addis Ababa !
The kindness and brotherly love in this video brings joy to my heart. Keep carrying on with your positive energy and the love you have for people. Wonderful video!
Hi brother it’s good to see your old place and School also. but it’s really not safe to walking around with Recording video. Please don’t walk alone that area, any place in Addis. Thank you. be safe and be blessed.🙏👏🏻
Myer Your video is excellent to watch. I am Ethiopian. I don't walk by myself in anywhere, because # I am a girl, 2, I am afraid that someone will follow me and and ask me for money or rob me.
I think all of Kazanchis is nice, but maybe I’m biased because I lived there. But I really wanted to show this area because it was my old neighborhood. Thanks for the support!
That Gebru moment was so wholesome!
Gebru is such a good person, and has always been so kind to me, i always make sure to take care of him
Didn't I go to your house one time?

Or a father who misses his son? Describing someone that age as a "child" seems incorrect.
@@WillieFungo you obviously can’t read 🤷♂️😂

I love your videos. It makes me want to go back home and visit.
Come to California, there are many Californians who collect VW Beetles.
Gebru is a nice Ethiopian fellow.
