I am very impressed with this video. First, as a person with quite an interest in language, I was really struck by your incredible enunciation. Where did you grow up to pronounce your sounds so crisply? Especially word endings--really pretty to hear. Second, the sound quality is unbelievable, and the crispy, crunchy, scrumptious sounds of the paper rustling were so distinct that this could be an ASMR video. Gave me lovely shivers. Third, what a wonderful journal! I love the way you put things together, and the mellow, rich colors. Your work is so neat and well put together, also. Finally, though you skipped past them quickly, I absolutely LOVE those Art Nouveau mushrooms! Where did you find them?

Thank you so much I am a newby to junk journals. I live in apts and was throwing away trash at our dumpster. On the side were four stacks of old and new books. A lot were hard covers. My first reaction was score and wanted to haul them all home, however I will be moving soon sharing a place with my youngest daughter who is expecting her first child and will need help. So I had to control myself lol some where falling off the spine and was wondering how to use this wonderful piece for a junk journal but wasn't sure how to add the signatures, so again thank you for sharing your beautiful craft.

Wonderful book and videos thank you can you please do a video on how you do your signatures in arranging theepaprrs like 2full sheets then a note card size or less hope I'm explaining myself. How you make the pages,thank you agasagasin I wish I could hasved one of these books:)

I love the way junk mail gets incorporated into your journal's and the colour scheme is gorgeous ... I watched the first tutorial as well, we gutted a book together this morning .. lol ... And I didn't nick the spine, which I usually do.... Thank you!!! :) Both videos were awesome .. Loved it ... TFS ...

Great video nice job love your work how do you get your papers so crispy sounding I've done the coffee dyeing but mine don't sound like that 😒
Thank you! I bake my paper in the oven, after I dip it in my coffee mixture, low heat (250°) for a few minutes :)
I put mine in the microwave .faster ,easier : )

Such an awesome journal. Love how you used found things throughout it. The picture hangers as a closure is just genius! First time I’ve seen that and I love it. Will remember this when I make a journal that needs a closure. Just watched the first video and now this one. Amazing!!! Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your entire process! I'm in the middle of creating my first junk journal and your tutorial has helped immensely. I'm just not able to decide at the moment if I should put in the embellishments on the pages before or after I sew in the signatures. I'm not using a sewing machine for this journal (hopefully in the future; love how that looks!) so would just be gluing and stapling. Might be easier to sew in "empty" pages for a first timer and add the goodies after the book is put together. Your thoughts?

Do you coffee dye all your signature pages, and if not, how do you get the printed ones to have that crunchy texture? Also, do you have a tutorial on coffee dying paper? Thanks again!!
I often coffee dye my patterned scrapbook paper. And when I coffee dye the printed pages that have my digital designs on them, they've been printed on a laser printer so the ink doesn't run.
