I knew it was you Jim. 😁 Yeah this has IWC Aquatimer vibes in the bezel and general esthetic. And I love it. The Aquatimer is actually my favorite diver. Great review and glad to see you and another quality object, even if it's not a knife 😁.
Nice review! Must be one of the few solar watches worth considering... The only drawback I can see is the large brand name instead of their logo .The "combat B" on the other serie may put many off which are not into combat like me and not really into quartz maintenance ... having an 8" wrist and similar age like you makes a Zulu look even thicker I prefer a tad more dress style having a Sturmanski Mars2 but unique appearance. Does the lume perform nice at night without the torch charge? kr, Erik
I've spent years working the mid-shift and I must say, solar watches do present problems for mid-shift workers. We really have to get creative like leaving it on the car dash (which I cannot bring myself to do) or leave them on the back deck/patio. Office light really doesn't provide great recharge for solar watches but I absolutely love the solar tech. I will probably get this watch as it is a sharp looking watch and you can't beat the decades worth of solar battery use.
I have a Lum Tec, I dropped it less than three feet and the crystal cracked. No problem. They replaced it for a charge. I got the watch back and upon putting it on my wrist the second hand fell off and the minute hand came off the cannon pinion. They didn't bother to check the integrity of the hands after the drop. They also didn't replace the battery while they had the watch in for service. It's a terrible company with unqualified personnel that sells a flimsy product.
You dropped your watch, regardless of integrity it was your error that damaged the Watch. Then to top it off, you send it off for 1 issue and expected them to meticulously go through and remedy all of the other faults your own incompetence caused. Bravo… 🤦🏽♂️

The batteries in these solar watches last well over 20 years so don't worry.
What g shock model shown in your right wrist?

So you sent it to them to put a crystal on, and expected them to completely go over and fix your watch for free, and you're mad that they didn't
