From the Line of Fire team: For those who may have misunderstood Dr. Brown's comments, he does not believe Todd White uses parlor tricks and deception, otherwise he would call it out. When he said he could care less about leg growing, what he meant was that the phenomenon or claims of it are meaningless to him. His issue is whether people were genuinely healed by the Lord.

I Personally knew Evangelists that God used gold filling teeth. My mother had a tooth gold filled by another evangelist. My wife had stage four cancer. She went to the altar; not for healing. The guest speaker was used in word of knowledge, pointed to the affected area and said “that cancer leaves now”, she was healed.

I think that’s the issue that many people have with Dr. Brown’s stance on Todd White and other Charismatics. It has been demonstrably shown (certainly in Todd White’s case) that he is engaging in willful deception. And if you consider that along with some of his aberrant teachings, and troubling associations, it’s not hard to see why people would want to mark and avoid him and NOT defend him just because he SEEMS like a sincere guy. Also it should be noted that in Scripture we are warned of people bringing false signs and wonders. So yeah…real healings may take place, or real-looking healings may take place…but what is that person teaching and demonstrating? We need to be careful and in this case, as with others, I think Dr Brown could use a bit more discernment and wisdom. I know we would disagree on that account. Please know I’m not attacking Dr. Brown here, I do still find value in some of Dr. Browns other teachings, but on this issue of Todd White specifically and discernment more broadly, I think he has a huge blind spot.

Dr. Brown, Has it ever occurred to you that being a preacher and teacher of the gospel is so important and so serious that people who are inexperienced and new to the Bible and prayer should be held back from leadership until they have educated themselves in the Word and practiced it for many, many years and proved themselves patient and actually listening to God? My point is this: When I get on a plane I want that pilot to follow all the safety rules, a check list, I want him to have a good record; I want experience when I have a surgery, and I want someone well practiced, perfectly practiced. Having someone teach and preach the gospel is as important as having an excellent pilot and a well practiced excellent physician. Todd White is someone with zeal, but do I want him to teach my children? NO! I don’t care how many hours one spends in prayer or Bible study, if your zeal drives you to have to be on top like Todd White you should not be in the ministry. Why can’t you see that? And as far as Todd having a right heart toward God. You don’t know his heart. I don’t know his heart. But I do know people like Todd, Benny Hinn, Kenneth Copeland and so on make me uncomfortable. And your inability to see through the man Mike Bickle of IHOPKC is case in point. There were red flags. Pay attention! And furthermore, a person’s soul is more important to God than anything we do on earth supposedly in His name. Todd is a showman and can’t help himself, he should not be an example of a good teacher or preacher. Let him humble himself for a few years. Even Paul, who was educated above and beyond any of you in the scripture took his time to really understand what God wanted him to do before beginning the ministry God gave him. Thank you for reading this, if you actually do. I hope you do read it.

I think the waters are muddy...because it can be a "false parlor trick" and it can also be a healing. So it's really a case by case. And even if some are faking things sometimes, does not mean some are not sometimes getting healed either. It makes it so difficult to be far away and call the shots on all of it. I've seen many prayed for and no immediate healings (of all different kinds) and I have seen many immediate healings (of all different kinds). I am not better than anyone else at determining when and why God will heal or why he won't in the moment or why he sometimes does the healing later that night or the next day. It's up to him (God) to heal or not. It's up to us to pray and ask him to heal. There is no burden or pressure on any of use to heal, because we cannot. The same name that is cursed over and over, that very same name spoken over an illness or injury can bring healing. Incredible. There's no formula or special prayer..there is just the power and person of God...and he has a will of his own.

Dr. Brown, I had a problem with my hip for over a year. It was painful and could not find relief. A visiting pastor at my church asked if anyone had a hip problem, my daughter pointed me out to him. I wasn’t sold on this healing ministry and words of knowledge. When he did the leg lengthening “trick”, I was embarrassed and extremely skeptical. I was not a faithful believer in this and felt as if it was all a show. The Lord healed me anyway. That has been four years ago and have never experienced hip issues since. I was a reluctant recipient of God’s grace. If God can help someone who exhibited no faith or expectancy what can He do for someone a little faith? I have been a charismatic believer for over 50 years but I thought some of these healers were fake and sensationalist.

I was once very skeptical of the whole leg growing thing.
Then one morning after I had finished preaching, I asked if anyone needed prayer for anything.
A couple said that their daughter had been suffering and had one leg shorter than the other.
She came up front and sat in a chair. Indeed, one leg was an inch or so shorter.
I said (inside myself) " OK Lord, I'm going to pray for this".
I held both feet up and prayed. The leg grew out right before my eyes!
I have since come to understand that many times it is simply a rotated hip. Funny thing is, God knows what the issue is and how to fix it, no matter how we address the issue in our prayer of faith.

Why not show Todd the videos exposing his schemes and allow him to irrefutably rebuke them? Why not ask why he preaches Jesus was child porn on the cross? Was it also Todd who said he has reached sinless perfection? ( the last one i think was him, but cant remember for sure). I have some of Dr. Browns books and think he writes well on some topics, but his discernment is almost nonexistent. With limited funding and space for a personal library, i cant say he is someone i would continue to collect books from. Todd's caricature of cessationism, also, is completely false. Of course we believe miracles still occur and the Spirit is active, please research before you misrepresent another view.

I'm not endorsing Todd White but with all due respect it would depend on God. I had a relative that was a believer that was sick for almost 2 decades but one time they were in fellowship when they were prayed for and miraculously healed by God. Could God have healed them in the first year of their sickness instead of almost 2 decades later? Of course but only God knows all things. Perhaps certain people's faith became stronger because of it or someone actually came to true faith in Jesus because of it or both. Even someone else in their job was telling others about the miracle that the Lord had done. God knows and He is the one that determines things not us and we are to try to align to His will. He is the one that searches our hearts. Praise God.

That’s quit silly Jesus healed all those that believed…you can’t walk into a hospital with people full of doubt.
Mark 6:4-13 King James Version (KJV)
But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief.

      @ucarouen 12 дней назад

@@newworldgrover8588There's a lot of Scripture, including that very important one you referenced, that clue in why not all people are healed. James 1 about asking in faith with no doubting, otherwise you won't receive anything is a repeat of what Jesus said in Matthew about the mountain. You must speak to the mountain in faith AND have no doubt on your heart, and it will be moved.
That's why it's harder to see miracles on the United States than desperate places like in South America and Africa. They don't have an unbelief problem.

You would have to ask him. From my experiences...some have "gifts of healing" where they see a larger amount of people healed than most others that pray for healing...sometimes they see a lot of healing only in a specific area or ailment....if that is the case, they may then keep praying for the area(s) they have seen things happen....But of course, it could also be trying to show healings when they don't see healings and maybe it's easier to publicly demonstrate... Or perhaps some other reason. For all of us, we are accountable for what we do, what we don't do. God will judge. If they are serving God, they will have rewards from God..if they are serving themselves, the glory they get on Earth will be all they get from it.

I love Dr. Michael Brown and The Line of Fire, I try to listen every chance I get and it has taught me so much!
BUT this is just ridiculous Dr. Brown! How can you say for example that you don’t care whether someone uses deliberate deception and fools people into thinking their leg grew?! It only matters to you whether the person was then subsequently healed? God can use anything to heal someone but that doesn’t excuse the sin of the person God may have used. For example Judas went out with the disciples and performed miracles, but he is not excused for his own betrayal.
And then you say stuff like I had a friend that testified that Todd White is always preaching the Gospel and practices what he preaches. That’s not the issue! Again, I’m sure if you asked the other disciples about Judas before his betrayal they would say the same sorts of things “Yeah he’s great, he’s been with us for 3 years travelling, he’s healed with us, cast out demons with us, spreads Jesus message always”. But just because outward appearances are all good doesn’t make the inside clean.
Same with Heidi Baker, you say I know she has a charity in Mozambique. Ok, what does that have to do with anything? There are muslim charities, atheist charities, very nice kind loving generous people all over the world, but that has nothing to do with doctrinal issues!
The issue with the interview with Todd White was not the title of the video! It was the fact that you even just said your intention was to question him about the specific accusations that the leg lengthening being intentionally deceptive, but you did not do that. And you have failed to address it again in this video!

But it was obvious that all that was happening is that the persons pelvis would rotate so that one leg would go forward and the other back. None of them were ever actually healed.

@@LFTV He doesn't outright say "little gods" like Paula White or Kenneth Copeland have BUT he teaches what amounts to the same idea, for instance that it is possible to live without sin on the level Jesus did and that we can heal every single sick person like Jesus did. He takes it to such an extreme as if there was no difference between us (believers) and Jesus. Surely any human would have a moment of pride, accidentally not give someone the correct change, not be perfectly accurate in their words even a fleeting sinful thought - we can't be perfect to the level Jesus is because He is God. And as someone who believes in praying for the sick and that God still heals - surely there are moments God isn't going to heal someone for His purposes. It seems Todd is quite unyielding in his teaching on this - if Jesus healed every person who crossed His path so should we. However it's been thousands of years, and have we ever heard of any human being able to do that? It's still only been and ever has been Jesus who has done that so completely, so perfectly.

@LFTV Firstly, I have been edified by your ministry for many years! My love for Jesus, for people and for the Scriptures have grown and my hatred for sin has grown as a result of your ministry. As a matter of fact, I ordered your new book "Hearts of Compassion, Backbones of Steel" and it arrived in the mail today!! Secondly, for the leg-growing controversy, I know it's impossible to cater to all critics, but in order to give thought to do what's honorable in the sight of all (Rom. 12:17) and pursue what makes for peace and mutual upbuilding (Romans 14:19), I'm wondering if an easy fix would be to recommend Todd White pray for the leg-healing by simply placing a hand on the shoulder rather than holding both feet. This way, White can continue praying for people's legs to grow out, the miracle can still occur, and the whole appearance of evil (parlor-trick foot-pulling) can be avoided. I heard Joshua Lewis from the Remnant Radio suggest this as a possible solution a while ago (I'm sorry, I can't remember which video I heard him say this). I understand that even Jesus seemed to require unique ways of doing miracles sometimes like rubbing mud on a guy's eyes, but this foot-holding doesn't seem like a unique, one-time, spirit-led type of miracle. The foot-holding just seems to be a default position that can easily be swapped with a position that doesn't have the appearance of parlor-trickery. I think we would make a similar suggestion to a person who looks like they are pushing people down during ministry time to make it look like people are getting slain in the spirit. The way we would probably recommend a person slay someone in the spirit is by, if anything, barely touching the person and, obviously, allowing God to do the heavy-lifting of overpowering someone if He wants to. It seems like that same principle of demonstrating that God is doing the heavy-lifting could be applied to the Todd White leg growing controversy. Also, I know one of White's points in your interview was that, regardless of what it looks like, the end result is that people involved received an actual healing. If Todd White could just do a little extra work and collect the medical documents from those actual healings and ask for permission to share some of those documents, that might make some of the critics be quiet. It seems like they respond more to hard evidence and less to hearsay.

I truly wish anyone of Todd’s critics would take the time and break down Justin Peter’s videos. Find the original video of Todd’s. Find the full context. You will always… key words always find deeper meaning for why Todd says and preaches the message. Some of what he says is cringe… but his heart was trying to teach on something that is cringe. Sin is very cringe and gross. Both of Justin Peters videos broken apart where was Jesus in your sin.. did he not take our sins..(individualized each sin) so take each sin and truly place on him your sin. One sin at a time… truly look into His eyes and listen to what Jesus says to you.
Todd absolutely loves Jesus with his whole heart and loves people the same way. Ask yourself with all this scrutiny not one ounce of true scandalous picture. Just horrific photoshop thumbnails for clickbait that can’t even get his mentor right.
Two videos of where Todd says KC is his mentor. Okay when does teach in Todd’s school. Even Dr Michael has more time in his school.
KC has no direct influence in Todd’s teachings. No one can ever produce KC says this Todd says this the same way.

Justin Peters did Todd White dirty!!!!
Todd White absolutely loves Jesus with his whole heart… and doesn’t come from a theological background who tries to teach in such a way that you are convicted of your sin. Sometimes it’s cringe but isn’t sin??? Sin is gross but we have to deal with it…
First off Dan Mohler is his real mentor… ask yourself why you don’t know that?? Maybe because KC is clickbait???
    Let’s go through his videos…
First off in his alligator head room…
He starts off humble… looking to only expose truth however he “needs” to share how Todd’s a really bad preacher… he then explains that he needs to step down… (sets the tone and gets you the audience in a frenzy)
    Then plays a clip…
Quickly misinterprets what Todd says and reinforces how Todd needs to step down…
(To continue your focus on the misinterpretation). I even fell for it.
Example… Jesus was p* on a tree.. Todd clearly states that..
“Jesus never did that.” He took it..
    Justin says he metamorphed..
Todd’s mistake he individualized sins.. to make it more personal.
Todd never mentions how Jesus actually turned into the sin. Because of how your brain was so focused on what Justin says you never truly listened to what Todd says or doesn’t say…
2nd video… Jesus was watching *^%%% with you .. video.
What is Todd saying.. Jesus is omnipresent. Todd is Not saying He is holding a Kleenex with a bowl of popcorn the way Justin presents. This video you can find for full context.. where Todd was trying to get you understand where Jesus is (was) so that you would stop living in sin…. Clear REPENTANCE!!!
Where was Jesus in your most embarrassing sin??? It’s gross and cringe… but where was Jesus and what was He saying???
    This broke my condemnation!!!
When I truly thought about it.
Both of these very cringe wordings… yes very cringe and weird. But highly impactful.. maybe that’s why the attack. Instead of dealing with the grossness of your own sin it’s way easier to attack Todd.
It’s easier to attack Todd actually talking about how He loves Jesus.
    Does Justin??
Any 5 minute clip will outperform Justin full length.. Todd talks more about Jesus in those 5 minutes than Justin ever has.
Todd lives out what Jesus commands us to do.
    Todd’s video never sinned…
Todd only says he doesn’t look lustfully at a woman.
His very next line that isn’t mentioned.. Todd says 2nd thought.
It’s possible especially if you spend 2 1/2 hours every morning… all day teaching on Jesus..
Todd only mentions Kenneth Copeland twice!!!! Why?? maybe KC is generous and donated money to help Todd start that building school…
KC as far as I know has never taught in his school or conferences!!!
Dan Mohler is his mentor… hundreds if not thousands of videos.
    Todd mirrors his teachings!!!!
Watch Dan preach for a video or two… to regain how you view Todd.
Now if you were true to criticize Todd. His gospel message is upside down… meaning he teaches from Gods perspective in the future tense…
Like if I stepped in front of my daughter as a bullet was heading her way. I did it because of who she was to become…
She might be young and sinful… but I saved her because I know she is worth saving!!

How does any Messianic Jew believe in healings when it isn't in the Tanach? If it's because of sin, no one can heal us but God. If Jesus died for our sins & we're free from the results, Paul & the rest of us wouldn't be struggling with continuing in them. We're all broken until we die. Sorry people. It's called aging. Grow old gracefully, short leg, long leg, no leg. Actually, if someone has 2 different leg lengths, who are we to say which one is actually shorter when the other can just be longer? It's all perspective. Except Paul's teaching. As we see, it's caused continuing debates on who's right - & it ain't Paul.

Look, Todd White is a great lover of our Lord Jesus. If he says that a leg grew, so be it-that’s his testimony of faith. If he says someone he prayed for got healed, then again, that’s his testimony of faith in Christ. His goal is not to get rich, for goodness' sake, but to simply be obedient to the Word of God! To you critics, what have you done to spread the gospel? If we believe that miracles are for today, then that’s our belief. If you don’t, then don’t-but at least preach the gospel to the lost. If you believe people will get healed, pray with them. If not, just share the Word. Todd White has been doing this even before he was full-time; he’s doing it out of his love for God.

“For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.”
      ‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Todd believing for everyone’s salvation doesn’t necessarily say it will absolutely happen(Universalism). Similar to his examples that he believes for every healing, even knowing that not everyone will be healed.
“Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; Defend me from those who rise up against me.”
      ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭59‬:‭1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I don’t get the impression that he’s trying to be disrespectful when saying, “OMG”, particularly when people are literally exclaiming to God about a healing they are witnessing from God. Exclaiming in praise and astonishment at our amazing God can clearly be reverent and not in vain when judging the heart.
If you feel strongly about it, I suggest you speak directly to Todd in private about it.
““Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.”
      ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭15‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.”
