Many people describe Dr. Michael Brown as a leader in Messianic Judaism.
I think it is good that he clarified that he became a Christian and joined a church.
When I was a child some Jews converted to Christianity, went to church and downplayed their Jewish background. Later some of these same converts started describing themselves as Messianic Jews once it became popular but they were the same church going Christians.
Many of us Jews see Messianic Judaism as slick marketing to bring more Jews to Christ.

Dear Dr Brown, The explanation about the Holy Spirit was wonderful.
My sincere concern is for the ongoing and wilful blindness of the Jewish people to the nature of God and the divinity of Jesus Christ despite all the evidence in the Bible. The hard heartedness is just so extreme I fear for the Jewish people.

In the 1970s I attended a Pentecostal Assembly of God church here in the PNW. We had a Messianic based service once a week. Complete with a worship team singing Psalms in Hebrew. It was a wonderful experience and continued for several years before one of the lead pastors died and there was a church split.
It was a tragic end to a beautiful expression of a unified Christian experience.

Were any attending raised as Jews in the Jewish religion?

I am really confused about the phone call and discussion with the "Messianic Rabbi".
It sounds like they are describing very small congregations with few young people. But every day on the internet, I am reading of thousands and thousands, if not millions, of Jews accepting Jesus.
    Why this discrepancy?
I do know that many Messianic congregations (like those near me) are not made up of Jews according to halacha but in fact, are mostly completely Gentile. Yet these Gentiles call themselves Jews because they are grafted in.
One reason the Jewish community does not accept Messianic rabbis and their congregations is because so many congregants are completely Gentile. As to those ethnically Jewish, most were not raised with the Jewish religion and are very ignorant of it. Liking to watch Seinfeld and eating bagels is not a good reason for the Jewish community to welcome you as a Jew when your true religion is Christianity.

Would not the Prodigal son, still be a son even if he died outside the father‘s house? Might not be as near but never the less still a son, if my son dies outside my house,my care, he’s still my Son

Need to pray that more international jews by conversion be saved and become either Messianic or Christian.
    🇪🇹 🇮🇳 🇨🇳 ✝
WHY does that constantly happen flexing the "culture or tradition" over Jesus Himself.
Gotta flex the jewishness in our sermons. Gotta flex that we're catholic and have icons over being Christian?
It's a dangerous partition to keeping Jesus fire Alive.

NO one has been RESURRECTED and ascended to be with the Lord YET. Act 2:34. Only the SOUL goes. Rev6:9. THE resurrection and THE day of judgement happen TOGETHER. Mt12:41-42/ 25:32-33/ Jn5:28-29. NO literal 1000 years in our future. PERIOD!
