I really like that you don't use overly specific cutters and veiners... I have spent so much money on flowers I have never made until today lol it takes out the joy of just creating. Very refreshing I really struggle with the planning process, the visualisation of what I want and will need to create, and how to assemble on the cake
Thank you! Yes, I hate buying new cutters/veiners etc :P I always just try to use what I have if at all possible! And that's great to know. Giving me lots of good ideas for future lessons!
I always waffled about whether to purchase the veining tool you use. I've seen others use it and just never could convince myself to purchase it! However, your videos have totally convinced me that I NEED this tool! Ordering it today! Thanks!
This is soo pretty.. finally a way to do it with basic cutters and tools... thank you!! New sub here😊 I struggle a bit thinking of what flowers go well together.. i feel I am all over the place 😂
Hi, welcome, thank you! Yes, I'm all about using the basics and just changing around techniques instead of buying something new :) And yes that can be tricky! Definitely something added to my list to cover.
I am looking for your course on peony flowers. I have made the buds and they turned out amazing. I am looking for the full course but can’t find it. Can you please tell me where to look. In your videos part one and two, you refer to the description box for the course. I have looked in there, but I don’t see it. I have my nephew’s wedding cake to build and his bride to be really wants peonies. I would appreciate it so much if you could let me know where that is located.
I just found your channel and love it! I have a little bit of experience. I’m a home baker but have made a few wedding and party cakes with sugar work. What I don’t have is a pasta machine. If you were just using a rolling pin is it possible to get my gum paste as thin as with the pasta machine? The thing I love is when I’m able to get my petals thin!
Hey! What do you use on your surface when rolling out the gum paste so it doesn’t stick to the table/counter? It looked like some sort of film but I wasn’t sure!
Hi mam, my home is in humdi area even my gumpaste start to stick even if i add tylose or cornstarch 🥺🥺. When i make flowers it start to come out from der coz of humid pls help me

I steam my flowers to meld the colors together and to avoid the dusty look.
