- The Salt Lake Vocal Artists perform "Spaseniye sodelal" (Salvation is Created) by Pavel Chesnokov in la Iglesia Catolica Central, Puerto Madryn, Patagonia Argentina, under the direction of Dr. Brady Allred. This church served as one of the venues for the 9th World Symposium on Choral Music at which the Vocal Artists were invited to perform.

This is a community choir. I'll just leave that here.
a community choir with easily the most masterful choral conductor I have ever seen in person in 40 years. I had the luxury of seeing Dr. Allred work at Duquesne University in the late 90s. The man could take tone deaf starfish and make them sound like heaven.

i'm missing a beautiful pianissimo at the end - otherwise excellent performance, though maybe slightly too fast.
he's not respecting the tonal tradition that inspired the music. he blends them in a boring way - they sound more like an anglican choir of men and boys than a choir of grown people. sounds nothing like the choirs that sing in the Slavonic languages. Not moving in the least.
