That's a light blue potion. In the game(s) that it has been in, it has been an "oxygen" potion that helps Link stay longer underwater when an oxygen meter is present.

Suthorn is in the Faron Province. We don't know if it'll be the only place there (I assume not, since there's also the Deku Village). We know there's two towns in the Lanayru Province (one for the Sea Zora, and one for the River Zora), and there's two in Eldin Province too. Assuming it's still called that, the Gerudo Province has only one town that we know of. And we don't know if there's two in Central Hyrule or not. I'm hoping there will be other provinces to come, because notably, there's two different types of mountain range, and oddly enough, Death Mountain (the traditionally triangular shaped one) appears to no longer be in Eldin, which is rather odd (but then again, in BotW/TotK, Spectacle Rock is in the Gerudo Province).
Thinking about it, I wouldn't put it past nintendo to randomly bring back a one off character/species like the Zuna, which we really only see in Four Swords. If the speculation is right, it could be a lore thing I feel? Maybe a way to further explain the rifts/tri-rod? Or a later game idea of how to stop the rifts/Ganon.
ALttP has a special place in my heart as my first Zelda game, and I love the Wild games, so seeing the DNA of both iterations so clearly in this game makes me really excited =D

For what I've noticed, Echoes despawn after a certain amount of time, with times varying depending on the cost of the Echo. But the Echo "breaking" and maybe even if Zelda just goes too far away from the Echo might make it despawn too.

My guess for the blue potion maybe it creates temporary tris kinda like the lifeblood in hollow knight or comparable mechanics. Like you get a blue tri but you lose it when you use it. That’s not backed up by anything just what my brain goes to

A morning of casually ruining the game for myself by watching someone overanalyze the trailer of my most anticipated game of the year so there’s nothing left to be surprised at when the game releases
As someone who watches all the analysis for both BOTW & TOTK, now EoW... Nintento only releases what they want you to see, and know, so for most of us, we can jump into game and not be completely lost. It helps reduce the friction of early adopters. And speaking from past experiences of both games, there will be plenty of surprises even if you complete the game 3x over.
I mean technically not ruining anything since this is all in the trailer Nintendo provided. Everyone could watch it multiple times and pick up the same hints/speculations

I'm really excited about this game. I only got a switch in April and only had a 3ds until then. So I'm really glad that I got a switch not knowing that this would come out as well as Mario and Luigi. This is the next game that I'm purchasing and definitely getting a physical copy. I'm just hoping that there are real traditional dungeons in this game.
That's because it's literally the same location as LTTP. The new trailer's map confirms the swamp south of Link's House has an almost identical layout as well. Allegedly there's a map that reveals location names. Everything from LTTP is mostly in the same locations, but it seems like Kakariko is moved west. Zora's River is probably gone now as well in favor of Jabul Waters, though I speculate that the zora fountain may be where Zora's River was.
How can you not tell that pot has an echo you can learn!? That's the same particle effect the table has in the announcement trailer when they reveal the echo system.

I don't think its as simple as "it's a stripped back version" I think it's probably the case that the objects further away are stripped back, but its still in the main world itself. The closer objects are still in view though, which is why the bombable rock wall is present. Stripping back detail on distant objects is a common way to save on memory.
What a waste of time, majority of this was just, "ZOMG, LOOK HOW LITTLE/MANY TRIS THERE ARE!," like dude, we get it the first few times that there's a regenerating feature for Zelda's magic, no need to draw it out for 10+ minutes 🙄 If anybody wants an actual good analysis video of Echoes of Wisdom, go check out Looygi Bros' video - much conciser at around 9 minutes, and is much more jam packed with content than this video 😒
