I have listened to Swamiji's lectures a lot and he never says anything that isn't relevant and correct. He's very deliberate with his words if you listen carefully,. He's a great speaker and Swami. Pranam.
I made a pact with a friend when we were 13. The first to die will contact the other to confirm life after death. He died first. A few hour after he died, he contacted me in a flash of joyous, dazzling white light and his image appeared in my mind. The recognition was instant. As I said "Oh no", he clearly communicated "It's alright". I heard it in my mind. A week later I was contacted by a nurse to inform me of his passing. I said I already knew and told her the day it happened and the hour I knew. She was taken aback.
I think it would be better to say that this is the Advaitic interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita. In my view, you really have to do some gymnastics to squeeze Advaita out of the Gita as an overall text. Krishna clearly says that he is the Puroshottama, even higher than the individual atma in the final verses of chapter 15. Again, the Advaitins might also interpret those verses in a different way, but I would say the primary and most direct meaning of these verses shows a plurality of individual atmas and one Supreme Purushottama.
🙏🙏🙏 How can Brahman , the pure Consciousness, the Absolute, be linked to Maya or Prakrithi( gross, subtle n causal matter) ? What link can be there between light and darkness... or betwn the Desert and mirage?
Because "we" are being Dreamed. "We" are in the Mind of THAT that we call God. Consciousness is the Mind of THAT/God. Consciousness created the "I Am" Consciousness is the Creator of all illusions. That's why no-body really exists, because everyone is a by product in the Dream. There is no link between darkness and light. Everything is only One Dreamer dreaming the dreameds. Everthing that is perceivable is an illusion. Consciousness is Awareness. Consciousness is Aware that It is Dreaming. Everything is Consciousness. Consciousness is in an egoic state of mind, but is Aware of whats happening.
As per my understanding, purush is masculine not male. It is achieved after 4th initiation. After 4th initiation there is go back. Similarly, there is difference between feminine and female.
@@the_pk Dear Sir! I respect you as a human. No doubt about it. Purush and Prakrithi in Samkya philsophy refers to Purush as the life and Prakrithi as nature. Nothing to do with gender.
We are all God according to the Advaita Vedanta. You are Lord Krishna but you don't realise it because you spend way too much time on RUclips and Instagram.
How can an Amsha=' a part of the whole ' can be truly equal to the whole in totality. what is Neti ? how do you identify it? and say 'it is not Brahma'. how can you say that mistaken identification of the body with Atma is avidya, when you assert that Sarvam Khalu idam Brahma
The Absolute has no clue of itself, because of Its Purity. Then Consciousness appeared that is the egoic state of mind of THAT that we call God. Consciousness is the Creator of all the illusions and Realities. The Universe is the Mind of THAT/ I Am. Consciousness is the Dreamer but it is Aware of Everything, Awareness is Its True Nature. "We" are being Dreamed by THAT/God. "We" are mental fragments (apparently) so Consciousness can explore and experienced all the possibilities of Its own Dream.
Neti-Neti Not this not that Part of the teachings of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Consciousness awakens itself through all the particles or atoms or sparks of light to recognize Itself, to self realize that It is all a Dream. The egos are only tiny mental energy imaginary nonexistent to make more realistic the experiences in the Dream. Consciousness awakens Itself from the Dream... Only through the Dream of Consciousness, it can be Aware of The Absolute.
Purusha of Sankya is different from Brahman , the Consciousness, as Prakruthi goes apart from Purusha. The same Prakruthi which is more or less understood as Maya of Advaitha, or, the manas (together with the Ego) which is the carrier of Maya, gets dissolved into Brahman and totally assimilated , for the individual practitioner. Difference is minor and exists only for those pundits who are carried away by wordplay, and not for the liberated, as the vasthu tatwam (Vaasthavam) is practically the same for both,, being infinite void. Whether the observer, now a being, remains a being without any becoming is a mute point. This notion brings Advaitha, Sankya and its derivative Buddhism, all into one and the same in effect of liberation. Grant that I may be wrong!
I give u a simple understanding.Purusha means Akaal Purukh.Ek Akaal Purukh. For the purposes of Bhakti the rest are metaphorically ladies. We are suppose to as all ladies don’t have Kaam inside us n merge with the Purusha called samadhi Oneness. This happens as Purusha is also within us.Gurmukh always Nirodh his chit n move towards Yog or Union with Purusha.Thank U .I am not enlightened n don’t know anything.U all have better knowledge than me.Sorry Ji .Kripa Kare sab nu.
Massive contradiction. Brahman and Atman are identical. Brahman is everything and everywhere (omnipresent). But Atman resides in the heart till death, and it travels through space carrying massive data (karma) and enters another body later. WoW! how ironically contradictory.

Purusha is another word for Supreme Self...there are an infinite number of Purushas ..

@soorajks2774 There's no link, all "links" are appearances in maya, and maya is an appearance in Brahman.

that means your understanding is wrong.

A 7 min video on Purusha is useless. Either do it right or don’t do it at all. Lots of people don’t know what this is and need further elucidation.
if all are Purushas< who is the Purushottama, Krishna is declaring himself to be?

It says so in the old book. It must be true because everyone tells me God spoke to them when they wrote it. If you reject it, you are antiIndian.
