I'm just finding this channel and chuckling to myself because as you guys transition to a bigger property in the midwest, my little family and I are doing something similar. From a small property in CA (with a nice little yard reeled at 5/8", thank you) we're moving onto 7 acres in MO. I can't tell you how glad I am to follow with you on this channel! In the past few years though I have got into organic gardening and ornamental gardens .I'm still making that move from Tenacity to organic weed killers so I can have a beautiful lawn and also grow organically. So it's really nice to hear from Kelsey, I'm looking forward to watching two different interests really meld together and watch how you'll develop the property together.
So awesome! I love y'all's approach of starting small then seeing you're ready to handle something bigger. So many people jump into things and don't realize that they haven't even checked in with themselves to see if they'd be willing to even do something small like a simple garden bed before trying to tame a multi-acre property. Congrats! Will be fun to watch. One thing to look into is controlled burning if you have areas that are really over grown and nasty. It will open up your vision and reset everything. It may not be for your property but it may be. It is amazing how controlled burns help reset the land.

Well you two certainly are thinkers, and have done some homework, like Kelsey said sometimes you have to jump right in, it`s the right thing to do.
