I absolutely love Montreal. It is my favorite place to visit. It is so beautiful. Would love to visit in the summer and check out more neighborhoods. I enjoyed visiting Jean-Talon market . Maybe will visit Atwater market next time.

It only looks like that while the snow is still fresh (usually early mornings). As the city wakes up and moves, it doesn't look like that anymore. The winter usually last from late November to late March, but much of snow accumulation happens in January and February. We sometimes have late snow storms in early April, but that snow melts within a few days.
Steep and curved staircase is the character of the neighborhood. But they are also necessary to save the space since those houses are too close to the sidewalk.
I just love the noises of the shoes in the snow! This is beautiful, I can’t wait to come to Montreal 😀
