@@zikeysaquarium Did you notice any very minor issues with the scope in any way? Like contaminants in the lens, small tolerance inconsistencies etc. I've been debating between this model and the swift sw380t for a very long time right now.
Hi, yes I do actually tend to notice small dust particles sometimes. I do not think that most of them are lens contaminants though, but either dust on the condenser or top of the eye pieces. With that said it is sometimes very tricky to locate them to wipe off (some could be lens contaminants - very minor though). One more thing to note. If you get the trinocular model the third node shows a slightly different picture (position and zoom wise) than the 2 main nodes. At least for me however, these issues are not deal breakers in any way, and do not impair my use of the microscope. Just small annoyances off course.

Thanks
@@makzhamz8323 if you see light it's truly just a matter of focusing using the knobs on the side. A little patience and you'll get a clear picture 😉 good luck!

Спасибо Борис. Алсу would be proud, I know it!😊
Is this the M83ES microscope on the OMAX website? If so this is the exact microscope I was thinking about getting too. Also, good job on the review... This is how reviews are suppose to be. 👍 I also like the footage you got too. Nice job! 😀
Yes from what I searche up that appears to be the right model. Thanks for the kudos, glad you found it useful! Hope you enjoy the microscope if you get it, no issues with mine so far.
@@zikeysaquarium No problem... Hey did you look at blood under your microscope yet? How does it look? That's one thing that's really interesting to me.
@@zikeysaquarium Also, what are those weird things under the microscope? They really cool. Thanks.
@@LifeasLJ No I haven't looked at blood yet. Used it mainly too look at a bunch of plants and aquarium gunk. Perhaps a topic for a future video though! About time I upload something again🙃.
@@LifeasLJ Haha, it's quite difficult to figure out what I see sometimes, but I can tell you that the organism with the 2 spinning wheels is a rotifer. It uses those fans to filter out food from the water. And the cylinder at 12:12 is a diatom

We'll all become gender less biomass one day, don't worry 😉
Great video! I've been debating getting this microscope for a while but there is not a lot of information online about it or others. I have a Nikon D610 and a7riv and was looking at getting into microscopy. What set up did you use to make those videos at the end? Any idea where I could get high end microscopes in Canada and also a good mount for either of those 2 cameras? I was looking at this mode on amazon.ca but am not sure if I should spend the extra $ and get a lab grade microscope.
Hi there! For the footage you see at the end of this video that was just me holding my phone camera up to the microscope by hand🙂. Since then I have gotten this adapter for my phone (works for cameras as well) www.amazon.de/TS-Optics-Kameraadapter-Befestigung-digitalKamera-Mikroskopen/dp/B007CVTDIU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&keywords=digiklemme&language=en_GB&qid=1531083567&sr=8-1. Microbehunter has done a review on it if you can find it in his channel. I will just say the adapter is REALLY ANNOYING to setup, but once you do you're set. I don't want to spend money for something more expensive as of yet. As for the microscopes.... All I know is Amazon or eBay. Depends on what you do with the microscope as well. I'd say this one works just as well as a lab grade microscope for what I need.... Just messaging around with my aquariums. If you want to do official research though then definetly go for a lab grade one.
@@zikeysaquarium great thanks, man its so hard to find detailed information on scopes. Ive been torn between omax and swift as the more expensive higher end ones are not necessary in my case.
@@ilovefreeski I remember being torn between omax and AmScope... Honestly, unless you find any major difference that is important to you, I think you'll be getting the "same" microscope experience either way. Also turns out a lot of these budget brands are owned by a larger company (omax and AmScope are the same company if I am not mistaken). I personally went for the omax over AmScope because omax was on sale when I was on the microscope hunt and becuase I like the simple look of omax.... It's all white with black accents and the body is almost fully metal unlike the plastic accents on AmScope or Swift... It looks cleaner and more professional to me.... Let me know which one you end up getting or if you have any more questions!
