      @@Sai-fo7eqSo this microscope is good? I heard there were some problems with this microscope. Eg I heard there were some problems with this microscope. For example: when adjusting the slide holder, I read things like "the lens throws (dislodges) ". Is this microscope good, can I have it with peace of mind?

    I suggest hacking this microscope Led section and include a series of inline resistors to the LED light so that it lasts a lifetime instead of a year. Great microscope for the price it can not be beat.

I am in college studying bio medical engineering, and my daughter is in elementary, and I was kinda jealous of the microscope I got her, lol, It is very very nice. www.amscope.com/student-microscopes/40x-1000x-student-c-f-cordless-led-compound-microscope-w-metal-frame-glass-len.html

    • @danfuerthgillis4483
      @danfuerthgillis4483 5 лет назад +1

      5 years late here but all these Microscopes with LED's must be modified to mode the led light. You need to add a little circuit board inline with 2 resistors and 1 transistor as hooked to a potentiometer. This is to protect and control how much led light power you need.

    At 5:20, why did she just move the 100X objective to the stage without oil? Won't this damage the objective?

    • @metafis2490
      @metafis2490 6 лет назад

      No...the clearance was sufficient..something you always make sure of before swiveling the objectives.

    quick question: is there a way to use polarising filters with this microscope? i need to examine crystals so need polarised light. i could add a polarising filter between in the filter slot but there appears to be no place for an analyser between the objectives and the eye piece. is that correct? any advice would be much appreciated! thank you.

      I compared them both, and I put my money, literally, on the Omax. IMO this Store is amazing. There are stores who sell stuff, and there are stores who are knowledgeable about and care about a product or service they provide. IMO OMAX MicroscopeNet is the latter. They answered my questions promptly and well.

    Fails to explain the PURPOSE of placing the filter in the filter holder.
    When selling a product, salespersons are taught to discuss 1.Feature 2. Function of that feature 3. Benefit of that feature.
    So, for those who wish to know why one would find a filter holder useful, please explain.

    • @madhavmnair4795
      @madhavmnair4795 3 года назад

      The function of the filter is to change the colour of the light incident on the slide. This enhances image in certain areas of the slide.

      What do you think about Omax 40x-2000x M83ES trinocular with 3 mp cam? It is so bad and why? As a cheap microscope for research I think its better than others like b490b amscope. And you can add an epi-fluorescent kit or a phase contrast/dark field kit to the m83ES! Or am I wrong? this not seem like a toy...!
