My stepdad got his diagnosis a little over 5 years ago, Stage 4, 6-8 months. His will to live and positiveness extended that period to more than 5 years. He passed away two weeks ago and will be remembered as one of those few patients who Beat the odds. RIP, we miss you everyday
I just lost my beautiful wife to Pancreatic cancer .She was stage 4 and also given about a year to 18 months to live ( best case scenario) .However through sheer positive attitude and will to live she lived a good life for just under six years . I miss her terribly .
I enjoyed listening to this Dr. as my mom battled pancreatic cancer. He was so compassionate about his patients and survivors. I trusted his survival rates. It gave me plenty of time to plan. My mom passed away a few days ago in hospice. Peace to all of you facing a similar story. F-Cancer!
I sincerely ask God that may He will extend my father’s life for years. He was diagnosed w pancreatic cancer stage 4 and the doctor do not recommend surgery and chemotherapy considering the age of my father. Now, we are holding on to God’s mercy and miracle as He has always been good to us forever. I know for the second time of my father’s illness He will not abandon my dad. In Jesus name we trust God more than any words from the doctors.
It's been 7 months since you posted this messege, yet you did not answer any of these questions. are you still alive? or did the cancer finally got you ?
I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer stage 4. The type of cancer was diagnosed as Adenocarsanoma. The doctor told me that I had less than one year to live. That was almost 7 years ago. I still take chemo treatments every other week. I have had over 100 treatments. I live a pretty good life and still mowing my yard and eating well. When I was diagnosed I weighed 340 pounds. January will make 7 years and I now weigh 147 pounds. My wife says I am a fighter. Because the chemo is still going on and I will not stop. As a matter of fact I need to get to bed and get some rest I will be taking chemo in the morning. We believe that we have been blessed. One last thing I have never seen anyone that’s taking the chemo drug Anovide.
My dad has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that went to his liver. He almost bled out to death but survived that episode. Now he’s recovering and unto the next battle after- attacking the actual cancer. Your story has given great inspiration. It’s time to fight!!! And we’re with him!!

Is Anovide the chemo you are currently receiving? Is your abdomen in pain? Who's idea is it for you to continue chemo? My oncologist said that continued chemo is not recommended because it didn't completely kill the cancer after four rounds, I get his point, but feel like chemo should continue regardless as any help is better than just letting it kill you. Please provide more details it would be helpful to many patients to hear your story and strategy as it sounds out of the standard normal treatment. I searched google for Anovide and there were no results, is the spelling correct?
This video was hard to watch.... My grandpa was diagnosed and died within 3 months. He was my only father figure and he was my best friend, I love you grandpa ❤️
Same here brother. My grandpa passed 4 months after diagnosis. And i being a mbbs graduate who couldn't save him and his last 4 months of life was painful every minute. He was more than my father and he loved me more than his sons.He being the most influential, rich ,and he lead his life very healthy with regular walking, yoga, strict diet and military routine but went through the notorious silent killer pancreatic CA. Now I am completely into depression and just living to fulfill his all dreams and once after finishing, i want to meet him with pride.
I'm learning Forex and my mentor who isn't even up to 30 is battling this disease too. I'm African and I've never experienced cancer before and his condition has given me a front row seat to witness hoe cancer eats up it's victims and I'm so sad and worried for him. I can't stop thinking about him and wish I could help . He's been very positive and outgoing through it all, but his physical appearance isn't very encouraging.
What an amazing dr. He explained everything with such compassion & empathy you can see that his very careful with what he says to his patients. I wish he was in melb Australia
I asked the doctor after he brought my Dad back after he went code blue. The Doctor said 6 months and he lived 8 months and I made his last months happy for him with father daughter Saturdays.

12 months ago I was to,d I had pancreatic disease with pseudo cysts . I have lost 40 kilos in the last yr. at Christmas my GP told me my pancreas had atrophied by half . Two days ago he told me after an MRI that I had very little pancreas left. This is after yrs of lupus and 4 different cancers and almost 6 full yrs of chemo. I'm not well and I know my days are numbered but all the specialist just say there's nothing left to do. I am 50 in dec and I want to make it til the. Not so unless you have private health insurance . Xo
Diagnosed in January 2019. Did the Rick Simpson protocol. 60 grams of THC in 90 days. THC causes apoptosis, CBC keeps the tumor from spreading. 10 months later I’m going well, still following the pancreatic cancer diet. Oncologist sent me back to my regular doctor. Did not do chemo or have surgery.
David Jacobs okay, I’ll check them out. Believe me David, I’ve been religious about my research. I knew when I read what pancreatic cancer does to you, and I knew doing chemo was a death sentence for my 76 year old self, I had to get it right. I honestly don’t think I have cancer now. I have pancan 4 to liver. Diagnosed a month ago. Treating myself with the Alternative..Joe Tippens Protocol using Fenbendezole and other natural products. Chemo starts in about a week. Pray for me. I pray for yall !
Had 1st round of chemo Monday&Tuesday. Still feeling effects. Still taking Fenben 1.5 grams/day, 2 pills of the Onjuct path 3, and my preferred CBD. The onjuct pathway 1 cbd is too nasty. It makes want to vomit. I am home. Hospital will run tests after about 6 rounds of chemo. (3 months). I should know better how things are going then.
My tumors and cancer have reduced 70% according to my last PET scan a week ago. Doc says miracle....I say Joe Tippens Protocol. I'm still kicking azz a month after hosp said I should be dead. God Bless Yall.

I am now 4 years, 7 months and 27 days post-diagnosis of a Stage IB adenocarcinoma in the head of my pancreas , around the bile duct. Had a pylorus preserving Whipple 19 days after diagnosis, and have shown no evidence of disease since. My surgeon gave me no timeline, just said we had a good chance at several more years. The after surgery pathology report showed the tumor had increased almost 3 times in volume, but had not metastasized or infiltrated any other tissue. As to what I do to stay disease free...had 16 chemo treatments starting 6 weeks after surgery, from mid-July to Mid-December 2015. Otherwise, I try to eat better, exercise a little more, drink a lot less alcohol, haven't smoked since about 5 - 6 years before diagnosis. I also take a medicine for high BP, another for GERD, both conditions pre-existing the cancer. Recently started on Metformin. Developing diabetes is a post-Whipple hazard and I slipped over the A1C border into early Type 2 diabetes last month after being close since the surgery.
@@tirnovanca, thank you for asking. Overall, Not Too Bad. Definitely nowhere near 100% again, am working 20 hours a week at Lowe's home improvement store, where I am a cashier. I do have the fatigue side effects of the Metformin with which to contend.
Two4brew I was just diagnosed a week ago with this I had been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus they did a DNC and they were going to remove my uterus but now that's on hold because of the pancreatic cancer. The pancreas is about 10.6 centimeters long and my tumor is 3.6 cm long so that's about a third. I also have 20 or more nodules in my lungs so they don't know whether that's pancreatic cancer or from the uterus. I'm pretty devastated I've always eaten healthy Never Smoke never drank no cancer in the family. Now I assume it's stage 4. They're going to do a lung biopsy on Monday today Saturday. Then the following week go over the results of the lung biopsy which they're assuming we'll tell them what kind of cancer I have in the pancreas. To say I'm devastated doesn't even begin to hit the nail on the head. But I'm trying to stay positive and believe I'm going to beat it and I talked to my pancreas quite a few times a day and said we're going to beat this and get you better. I am going to try to find a place to get a couple intravenous infusions of vitamin C before they do any treatments just like out my immune system and help it fight the cancer. If you leave a common here most likely I'll be able to pick it up on my RUclips channel God bless all of you that are suffering either through a loved one suffering this horrible cancer or yourself suffering through. I'm being treated at MedStar Hospital in Washington DC so if you know anything about at Treatment Center please by all means let me know
They gave my uncle about a year at diagnosis (stage 4)---3 weeks later he was gone. Took us all by surprise, and just such a shock with how fast it happened.
@Indian kshatriya that is true there are people who live way pass there prognosis and unfortunately some who live far short of it in the end the doctor could only give you an average prognosis.
Dr gave my wife 1/1/2 yrs due to stage 4 Panc cancer. Many rounds & ongoing chemo -/ now 3 yrs. no end in sight. Chemo is brutal If only the Dr incorporated alternative treatment in addition to chemo. We would feel more positive.

People are very different. If I think I have cancer, I wouldn't want any family member with me when talking to the doctor, and I would like to have the truth there and then.

She has spent a lot of time at the doctor and hospital, having had some surgery (Whipple procedure) late last month. We (my mom and I) are going to see her on Monday in Waconia (where the hospital is). Omgosh…after reading the comments…I really wish I hadn’t. I really wish I hadn’t 😢 I thought I would find at least some encouragement. It just got real.
Just found out today that my grandpa has stage four pancreatic cancer. You know what’s funny? For years now he’s been having problems with his body and just odd things have been happening and progressing. Even yesterday he had this horrible pain in his back going up his arm and he went in to the doctors and they told us the same thing “He’s fine, nothings wrong.” Then this morning he had a few seizures. The ambulances picked him up. And we are told today “Oh yeah, he’s probably had this for a few years, spread to his stomach, kidneys, and lungs so). You’re telling me, everytime these past few years we have brought him to the doctor, especially these past few months, that NO one saw that he had cancer? Haha, doctors don’t give a shit about you when your old.
Has nothing to do with being old. Tests to find cancer cost money and if you don't have any beyond insurance then you won't receive those tests. They don't give a shit what age you are.
I’m glad you mentioned the pain in the back and running into the arm. I’m not sure what to say…my sister had an MRI on her pancreas last week, results they see cysts and a tumor. Monday we take her for a biopsy. Her body has been giving her strange problems for around 2 1/2 years. In the past 6 months things have escalated. She had her heart checked, MRI’s on neck, back, & pancreas ( last). It’s just endless for her. It’s been really hard on her. I pray we get encouraging answers from the biopsy Monday.
I found out I went from stage 3 to 4 and it took over a month to get a pet scan. It is like finding a good person to work on your diesel truck. They are had to find. People screw up all the time. You have to watch them your life is in your hands but most people put them in the doctors hands thinking they know what they are doing. All they can do is extend your life with this cancer. You are going to die. Just when. So do your research and find the best doctor that you can. And cross your fingers.
My mother was diagnosed stage 4 in July 2021. She's doing chemo, and the tumor shrunk. The other spots have disappeared. Her md said 3-5 years. It's encouraging some people live longer! Cancer is not fair.
It sucks. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last Sept 2021. She went through radiation and as of March 2022 she was given the all clear My dad was just diagnosed last Friday with pancreatic cancer that mastitis into liver. He was given one to one and a half. I hope he makes it that long. He's 75 my mom is 80. Cancer flipping SUCKS!!! Grrrr
my mum had the same diagnose in 2012 and I think the progressed in the treatment since that time, which is great. it such a pain to see your mum die in only a few month with so much pain. I hope your mom will not have too much pain and maybe she can continue to live much longer as well
My grandfather, mother and brother all had PC. All three had the Whipple. Grandfather and mother no Chemo and lived for 25 more years. Brother has chemo and lasted 3 more years. The chemo killed him. Mayo Clinic requested I do blood study with them to see why we last so long after diagnosis. I gladly volunteered. No feedback yet.
In other words you gonna die when you have it in less than a year. Who wants to go for a treatment just to be alive for another year, and still die. Do you call that survival? The medical industry needs to get it together. You should be like an honest car mechanic; if you can't get the engine started and the car running, you should let the owner know instead of false promises while people are paying and dying at the same time.....shame.
The fact of the matter is that some people would rather live that one year weather or not money is a factor. If someone told you you had a year to live but you had to spend money to do so would you? We all are going to die because of a cause be it natural or disease.
Do you not understand english? the dude basically said it's too hard to give a number because for fringe people on both sides of the spectrum it could be much longer.
@@robideals685 The simple answer is no man knows the time, the father himself said that. We are born live and die, some sooner than others but that is one destiny we all face.

Ian McAlinden my father shared the exact symptoms as you and he passed away 3 months ago. Godspeed to you! My dad only lived for 8 months... 😢😭 Sometime death is the best medicine because the patient will no longer suffer as he was living in pain. This is something we had to come to terms with the death of a love one.... I have been crying everyday for the past 3 months after his passing but then I realised death is the only way to free him from pain. It is just the fact not having him around makes me sad but seeing him in pain and discomfort makes me more sad... He suffered from a sudden cardiac arrest after bringing him to do the COVID 19 test despite I pled many times to his oncologist that my dad didn’t have it. He won’t treat him unless he takes it. My dad was so afraid to go outside that he tried to convince me not to. But I told him that you can’t avoid going outside forever because you still have to go get your chemo after the scan. So he reluctantly agreed... When my loving dad got home from the clinic he slowly walked to his chair with all his strength (he was already exhausted) without his cane. He sat there and he was gone! Just like that without saying goodbye or his last words... to me and my mom. I broke down in tears for having to make such a decision and the way I pressured him to eat more and drink despite he kept saying he lost his appetite and the will to live...
Am having symptoms? What is the best way to diagnosed pancreas cancer pls? I have CT SCAN done already.. am losing alot of weight and my in my leftside of my stomach and ribs and back pain
My mom have metastatic pancreatic cancer and she is in chemotherapy now what should I do for her? People said waiting for her death time ohh god please no😞
Cherish the time you have together. Tell her all the things you could only wish you did after she passes, ask her everything you wanted to know while you can. Hold her hand and love her
Please, dont talk about the negative old , talk only about positive, new medicines and treatments and act like she will live for years. I hate people acting infront of the loved ones, like they are going to die in months . Make them visualize beautiful places and events and let her plan for things to do together once she feels not so tired after chemo. Hope you have a dietician, to help her choose pancan friendly diet and be strong physically and mentally.

How does Dr. Evans feel about alternative medicine that has been used for decades like rife machines (or machines similarly using frequencies) that have been "curing" cancer? My mother was recently diagnosed, went overseas for alternative treatment, and was pain free for months. Upon returning, her pain returned. However, her tumor grew very minimally. Her oncologist that she was seeing only offered pain medication (opioids) because she refused traditional chemo/radiation treatment. With such a low percentage of life expectancy, would going through deterioration of quality of life be worth it for a cancer patient in her position?
Ya the morphone is what kills them, not the cancer. They just dont want to take care of their patients no more. Get a lawyer and ask for all of his medical records even prior to his last check up, see if those cr scans are even your fathers. Theyre up to something. May god help us

stop commenting, we here are mostly suffering over aggressive cancer, you got lucky with PNET, there are different types of pancreatic cancer and you were lucky. please shut the hell up
I think that the message that most patients come away with is, "that doctor gave me 6-8 months to live" (the median number). While I'm sure the doctor usually couched the timeframe properly, that's not what they take away. There needs to be some better way of telling them so that they really get it. The end result for those that live longer can be that those doctors don't know anything.
the truth most people who diagnose with stage 4 pancreatic cancer do die in 6-8 months even with treatment sure some outlier live far longer then there initial prognosis but unfortunately some are also short on there initial timeframe

Hi Purit - Thank you for reaching out. We can evaluate your mother to explore any treatment options that may be available. Please contact our new patient coordinators at 414-805-6849 or 414-805-6848. They will answer your questions, and if you would like to set up an appointment, they will gather your mother’s medical records for you. We wish you all the best.
Hi Ted - Sometimes these symptoms are actually signs of an underlying condition and would prompt the medical team to do additional testing to rule out an underlying malignancy. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we recommend you speak to your physician to see if additional testing is warranted. Thank you, Carla

He also has a syringe pump administering dymorphine for the pain. What are his chances? It's hard to see a silver lining at present. Not gona lie he looks like death warmed up. It makes me very sad😓
My grandma got diagnosed last year, she is in her last days, not able to eat, speak, water in lungs, cancer is ass, all I can hope is that your dad beats this cancer and not end up like my grandmother
My father's been getting chemo this past 5 months. His tumor has now shrank by a third from 3cm to 2cm. He is feeling and looking much better but it's a long road ahead. Praying he makes it

Yes even a ct scan with contrast can show the pancreas clearly but there is always misdiagnosis if you feel you have pancreatic cancer see a gastroenterologist have them run a blood test and don’t wait the faster the diagnosis the better chance you have of survival I hope your okay but remember you can also have symptoms of pancreatic cancer and they can easily be something like an ulcer, pancreatitis, gastritis, and or even a stomach bug.
It's a bad cancer. My mother died in two years. When discovered it already spread to her liver. Two years was on the high end of surviving at that stage.
When the immune system is weakened by the chemo and the cancer, pneumonia can strike. My stepdad also passed away because of pneumonia, which he got in the hospital because of a cancer complication. We all miss them

I think doctor still when they hear hoofbeats they think horses instead of zebras. I was just diagnosed a week ago with pancreatic cancer and yet since March I have been saying I'm losing weight and I'm not doing anything to lose weight I also said I don't have an appetite and this is besides this horrible horrible pain I've been having in my lower abdomen which I guess everyone including me was in tributing it to some spotting for my uterus and the fact that after they did a DNC two weeks ago they said I had uterine cancer. Because the pain is so bad at times and then it quits and it comes in the middle of the night and I can't figure out whether it's the uterus or a bowel movement or a bowel movement moving past the uterus I don't didn't know how to insist to the doctor something's wrong. Now I have lost over 25 lb and I'm down to less than a hundred and twenty so all the doctors said to me and it was four of them is did you ever have a colonoscopy when you're fifty and I'm in my early seventies now. So I have a colonoscopy scheduled for November 1st I might not even live long enough to see that. Trying to be positive and going to get a will written oh, what to do my with my 60 orchids, and my Angel Wing Begonia collection and a couple other house hundred house plants. This is an addition to a collection of porcelain dolls and other things. Life is too short but this is really too short! I'm trying to be positive I haven't cried I know people say go ahead and cry but I don't want to be a weepy Wanda and I don't want my eyes are swollen from crying and my nose is all stuffed up from crying. I'm also trying to be strong for my four children. I never smoked I never drank i8 good food to need a lot of junk food for quite a few years now I've been drinking distilled water. I have four children worked and put them through college. I taught for 32 years and after I retired I miss teaching so much I substituted for 13 years. I've always been a very active person and I hope God gives me the strength to be able to do what I need to do until the time comes to let go of the things of this world!

No,she had a very rare pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor(PNET) and not the common type known as a adenocarcinoma or pancreatic cancer.Steve Jobs had a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor and was still alive 9 years after his diagnosis.
@@863NightOwlNot quite the same tho. How aggressive the cancer is makes all the difference. Imagine having no symptoms, then suddenly getting sick and finding out your life expectancy is only a few weeks. Both Aretha Franklin and Steve Jobs were able to live pretty normal lives (for the most part) for a whole decade before finally succumbing to their cancer. My mom only got 6 months and suffered the entire time. She wanted to live long enough to see her grandkids grow up. She would’ve been grateful with having just 9-10 more years.
My stepdad got his diagnosis a little over 5 years ago, Stage 4, 6-8 months. His will to live and positiveness extended that period to more than 5 years. He passed away two weeks ago and will be remembered as one of those few patients who Beat the odds. RIP, we miss you everyday

Rip to him. You speak so beautifully about him. May I ask you if he followed a strict diet or not? Or did he just do standard chemo?

I sincerely ask God that may He will extend my father’s life for years. He was diagnosed w pancreatic cancer stage 4 and the doctor do not recommend surgery and chemotherapy considering the age of my father. Now, we are holding on to God’s mercy and miracle as He has always been good to us forever. I know for the second time of my father’s illness He will not abandon my dad. In Jesus name we trust God more than any words from the doctors.
It's been 7 months since you posted this messege,
yet you did not answer any of these questions.
are you still alive? or did the cancer finally got you ?
Oh I like this kind of doctor very compassionate and full of positivity....we need more doctors like him.

Did you do surgery or any operation?
Keep it going, i’m rooting for you

Diagnosed in January 2019. Did the Rick Simpson protocol. 60 grams of THC in 90 days. THC causes apoptosis, CBC keeps the tumor from spreading. 10 months later I’m going well, still following the pancreatic cancer diet. Oncologist sent me back to my regular doctor. Did not do chemo or have surgery.

I was just diagnosed a week ago with this I had been diagnosed with cancer of the uterus they did a DNC and they were going to remove my uterus but now that's on hold because of the pancreatic cancer.
No! Doctors don't know shit but to dispense medication. Surgeons are professionals

It sucks. My mom was diagnosed with lung cancer last Sept 2021. She went through radiation and as of March 2022 she was given the all clear
My dad was just diagnosed last Friday with pancreatic cancer that mastitis into liver.
I hope your mom will not have too much pain and maybe she can continue to live much longer as well
How is your mother doing now?
2 years ago I was given 6 months without treatment 8 months with, for pancreatic cancer,12 months ago my body started to die, pressure on my chest pain in back stomach, had to make a conscious effort to breathe hands and feet swollen, but I I refused to lye down and die,but this time I've got the symptoms back but with the fact that I am totally fatigued,an I am worried
In general, when you hear that diagnosis, it's good night nurse. That's just a fact.

My father died before the immunhistochemical diagnosis. Died 2,5 half months after the first simpthoms. The last 2 weeks was pathetic...
Ya the morphone is what kills them, not the cancer. They just dont want to take care of their patients no more. Get a lawyer and ask for all of his medical records even prior to his last check up, see if those cr scans are even your fathers. Theyre up to something. May god help us

I truly believe the schools lack the knowledge - and doctors are just human .
the truth most people who diagnose with stage 4 pancreatic cancer do die in 6-8 months even with treatment sure some outlier live far longer then there initial prognosis but unfortunately some are also short on there initial timeframe

Im no doctor but the big problem with the pancreas is that the nerves arent like other organs so when you feel pain etc its pain from the other organs that the Pancreas cancer has spread to that you feel and then its secondary. Thats why its called the silent killer.

They will answer your questions, and if you would like to set up an appointment, they will gather your mother’s medical records for you. We wish you all the best.
Does having EPI, Malsorption, and pancreaitis predispose you to pancreactic cancer?
Hi Ted - Sometimes these symptoms are actually signs of an underlying condition and would prompt the medical team to do additional testing to rule out an underlying malignancy. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, we recommend you speak to your physician to see if additional testing is warranted. Thank you, Carla

I do not care what disease you have or what awful situation plagues you, if you forgive and forget ALL things daily it opens space in you that is backfilled with love.
When you feel that love deeply Heavens Light SHINES upon you healing you entirely.
To become ONE with the Light and know it heals entirely.
It is The Law of Attraction simply put that in order to attract love, forgiveness etc you must be that thing first. God/Source is love and so must you be. The feeling is the prayer. When you identify with only the future outcome of any prayer you will have that outcome. I promise.

How is your father doing now? What stage did he get diagnosed with?
Can radiologist tell just by a MRI w contrast when someone has pancreatic Cancer?
It would show that you had a tumor.
My mom lived for almost 4 years with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She died from pneumonia.
