I interpreted an architecture class for a deaf student at a college in Southern California, in late 1990’s or early 2000’s. The teacher was Richard Fernandes, who was one of the designers of rides of the original Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. He worked at the Disney studios in Burbank, and ht talked about the “nine old men”. By then most of them had died and there were only one or two left. They were still doing art. It was interesting hearing him talk about Disney related things. Your video showing these flip books is very good, thank you. The book is a real treasure.

Thanks for your reply Gerrie. And nice to know that Richard Fernandes mentioned the nine old men. I was fortunate enough to get to know one of them personally: Ollie Johnston.

Nice review! I have this set as well as a similar set called Nine More Old Men that came out in 2017. They’re both really nice and make great additions to the incredibly nice Walt Disney Studios The Archive Series four volume book sets.
