Thanks for the shoutouts Morten. I hope the album is selling better in your part of the world. Not selling in the US much. Can't help but wonder if the "sub-par" artwork (in my opinion) contributes to this lack of sales. Because Shepherd's Bush and Wiltern are great shows. I especially like the video. Many are complaining about Shepherd's Bush being split-screen, but I loved it. I hope you do too. I know you look forward, like me, to the deeper cuts versus the typical classic tracks over and over again. I give you props for also buying the vinyl, I didn't..lol. Anyway, hope you enjoy Shepherd's Bush. I like your Rolling Stones New Years listening tradition. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. And I hope 2025 turns out to be a good year for you with or without beer.
@@TheAlanRosenbergShow You are very welcome. I enjoyed it a lot. And the video. Didn't bother me at all (the split screen). Hope you enjoy your Christmas.
Hi Morten!!! Cool idea to say good bye (2024)/welcome (2025) listening to the Stones great tradition... Also agree with you they should play more deep tracks and just a couple of the huge hits. i have a dvd boxset in which they play a lot of lesser known songs from smaller venues, can't remember the name and it's really good!!! cheers and be well
I don't exactly remember when i decided, but i decided to stop buying Rolling Stones live albums after 2006 tour. I now have a live album from every tour between 1966-2006. I have more than one from a couple of tours during that time, i think that's enough. Didn't buy Hackney Diamonds either, i'm sure i would've liked it, but i felt that the Stones ended with Charlie. I was never a fan of beer, i did drink a little bit in the very early days, but stopped ages ago. Pasi
@@6758pasi Charlie does play on some track on Hackney Diamonds and with Bill contributing to one of those tracks, it's the whole band for one last time. I thought that was very special.
10.000 different beers? Huh. I buy a beer only after maratons. So it is like two beers per year. Normally drink only non alcohol beers. It is going to be fourth year without drinking. I am no absolutist, could take glass of wine...but when it is not habit, wine dont taste good anymore.

@@cristianosorio2517 Was that the Four Flicks box set? Had 4 shows from the huge to the almost tiny.
Thank you Cristian.
@@MortenAastad Yes!!!! that's the one.... to me a great boxset, loved the smaller venues shows
@ I think I only rewatched the smaller ones to be honest. Big venue stuff was like so many others.
Rolling Stones could put out 100s of live albums you would think, most of their shows must have been taped. Happy New Year Morten
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Thank you Steve. And to you and yours as well.
