One possible reason for the tubs filling at different rates could be the way you bent the rigid tubing. When you bent the tubing you did not put something inside the tubes, which can cause the interior sizing to change and pinch, reducing the flow.
@@ryanpenrod1859 One could get fully intense with min/maxing, and use computer modelling to design a manifold header that has uniform lengths, and curvature like they do with performance engine intake/exhaust piping. If one wanted to see how far they could push it.

Seriously you boys have done a quality job, if I ever win the lottery you both are coming to England to build me one of these fish rooms! Awesome quys!
@Aquarium Co-Op, Robotic Mower, buy it. Save yourself time with both fallen leaves and grass mowing. Then just adjust after its cutting tendencies to get clean mowing lines. Beyond that, Probably too late now. But you can always drain the waste water into a sump tote or two before it drains into the grass field. Recycle the aged water for other fish that you raise outdoors, for example... Rice fish. Or build a custom 12 inch tall pond that spans for a long length. Raise native crayfish/shrimp/clamps etc together with non-invasive water foliage.
Yeah, I love water reclamation projects and wetlands. Our farm utilized an external greywater wetlands system, which is the best way to show people how beneficial snails are. Cattails and other native sedges can do a great job cleaning water, but only snails keep the sludge and bubbles from greywater under control.
Yes you have it! The lizard is a northwestern alligator lizard Elgaria coerulea principis. I have actually bred these in captivity 20 years ago. They eat insects and love a hot rock to sunbathe on.

Man that fishroom is going to be amazing. Thank you for showing all the steps so that we can DIY potions of it for our own rooms. Can't wait to see more progress!

Looks and works amazing Cory. Dean really is the man so clever! He must be such an amazing person to know and hang out with. He really should give up his job and work with/for you, hopefully you can talk him round lol. Great video as always can’t wait for the next one and be great to see the ponds and tanks full of fish 💯👏👏
Omg the bit with the sound and the guy with the jack hammer and beer..... I almost spat my coffee out on guy sitting in front of me on the bus!!!!!!! Cory!!!!! Hahah
The reason for the fill variance might be Dean's bending technique. The rigid tubing should be filled with something solid when bending, like fine sand. This would maintain a consistent diameter and prevent crimping.
Using a small cable or flexible tube that perfectly fits the inside diameter works even better than using sand. I have previously used old cuttings of broken phone chargers and they work perfectly for 6mm (1/4 inch) pipes.
This is great if i would have a buddy to set up a breeding room like this i wouldnt ask for more from life, keep it going im hyped to see how this awesome Projekt evolves.
Your level of work is stunning, there's nothing like it anywhere near me and I'm in the north of England. I'll definitely be doing something similar at some point, just collecting frag tanks atm as they're the cheapest decorative tanks I can find. I need some of those fibreglass bins though, look pretty neat as a mini pond system.
This is so informative and inspiring. Being able to enjoy your hobby and supply your store too is just a dream come true. Love breeding fish but, not selling them.. You should be proud of how far you have come.

Using your tips made it so much easier to keep a clean and healthy tank while going through the busy motions of school. This will stay with me for life!
If you place sand in the acrylic tubing and rotate it slowly then bend, you will avoid kinks. Then remove sand and rinse. We do this when custom watercooling computers. Kinks cause restrictions. Love this video.
I just made my first purchase from you and I must say WOW was I impressed with how quick it shipped and the care taken. I am thoroughly impressed with the products so far. Great job in putting out great products and helping us newbies to understand what we need to in simple terms!! Love the new room!!
LOVE the build series. I don’t know that I will ever build a fish room, but knowing how you build your “urban fish farm” could inspire smaller projects to make the hobby easier.
It's important to note that all mixing valves require a minimum flow across them to control temperature accurately. The nice thing about digital options is there is no seasonal adjustment vs. thermostatic valves, which require seasonal adjustment as groundwater temperatures can vary greatly in some places, and thermostatic valves are designed to proportion with no actual temperature analysis.
A few quick tips for you guys to save you from burning out your pump, add an expansion tank somewhere in the loop to manage pressure surges, also add a few air bleeds, ideally at high points, also, add a low point drain for draining the system when you have to make changes. Add isolation valves for areas where you anticipate changes in the future. This is the sort of thing we do in the pipeline industry.
Also, the system shouldn't be pulling in air if it is at a reasonably high pressure, because otherwise those points would be leaking water. It's more likely that you have trapped air that is causing pressure surges as it gets compressed. Your lines should always be angled, and a bleed valve installed at the high point. Crack the bleed valve when filling to ensure the air gets out of the system.
Nice system and return. I have a similar system for my gardens.... it saves HOURS and let's me travel a bit more. Really neat that you adapted it to the fish hobby. Have a lovely day guys!
This is amazing. The quality of your workmanship is fantastic. You can see when you start filling up the tanks the angle the water is spraying into them is ridiculously consistent for hand bent tubing. I would like to mimic this in a very small way for a simple wall of about 10 tanks.
Truly amazing. I’m ridiculously impressed by all of the effort and time being put into this urban fish farm. It will be a really remarkable achievement. Great job Team Aquarium Co-op.

Make the space quite by hanging some 2’x4’ acoustic panels out of 2” compressed 703 insulation. Simple frames, DIY, stretch some fabric of your choice over them, put about 6 on each wall, your room noise will drop in half and they can look great. You can me them look like artwork.
