I noticed those twists, but didn't know if anyone else noticed them as well. Now I know about enharmonics. You're right in that it gives an emotional feeling, and a twist. Kind of magical.
That was fascinating! I've heard that song every holiday and previously never gave it much thought. And if any of my songs become hits, I'd be happy to send a little something your way.

You can’t escape this song no matter where you go lol. Great video on the harmonic insights of this one.
Glad it’s helpful

@@MusicMattersGB I’m truly appreciate your efforts. Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year 🎵
The same to you.
Would it be 'wrong' to think of the C-6/Eb as a borrowed iv chord? Oh - and don't worry I've got you down for 10% on my next hit lol:)
Good to know about the 10%! You could think about it as a borrowed IV with an added 6th. IV with an added 6th is really a II7 in first inversion.

Good luck!
Honestly surprised you haven't done Chopin's Nocturne in Eb Major Op 9 no2. Great video though.
We’ll get there
