My gosh--- she looks so much older. Really missed you guys. Glad she got mostly good reports. It's a strange time for everyone. Hope Eric is doing well, too. Love to all, Grammy Pat from Pa.

Maybe I missed a blog, what happened to Cookie? Sophia is getting so big. You are such a great mom.

In our last vlog we talked about it...unfortunately cookie passed away😔 it was very unexpected, and pretty traumatic.

Is there any way you can post and let us know how Sophia is? If we could just see that you are all ok.

Question was Sophia's trisomy a fluke or are you guys carriers? Or have you ever been tested? I know she takes a lot of your time n energy for her care .....do you want more children? As always great to see you guys

Hi! So Sophia tested as full, but is suspected as mosaic trisomy, either one, is not hereditary. I was at an age that wasn't high risk, and she showed no signs either. It was really almost a 1 in a million kind of thing. Her geneticist doesn't suggest we get tested, because we, almost certainly, wouldn't have any genes that would be carried on. The trisomy that is inherited is called partial trisomy. We do not plan on having more children. We could adopt in the future, but as of now, sophia is our sole focus.
