You're a very kind person, helping and supporting the less fortunate. I'm surprised you don't seem to want to hook up with the single ladies, or let them take advantage of you, like a lot of guys from the US. Or maybe you just don't show 😉.
@konbannok... Congratulations. You picked the best dishes. I want to try them next time I'm in Vientiane. Oh I wanted to see how you like the food but you gave it away. I ate the rice and egg that you had in March. I also ate from the couple selling Pad Thai at the street corner. I bought some food from a lady at the corner. She didn't have much but I wanted to support her. I also donated a small bill to a lady picking up bottles and cans for recycling. Ahhh if you can read Lao, you can tell better what they are selling exactly.
Thank you for being so nice. The food here look so good and not expensive, I bought some and I'm not a big eater so I gave away some. It's good that we can support the sellers and also help someone.
Sihom. And you got to go to the Morning Market Bus station. My friend Joy serves coffee, tea, ramen AND 2 sunny side up eggs with bread. The coffee she served me is the best lao coffee ever. I took her picture. On Google Maps, search for "No. 14 Bus Stop", it's near the Morning Market. Look at the pics to find Joy. By the street nearest this lady is a sandwich shop. Banh Mi for 10,000 kip. Not the best but cheap.
Hey Joe, I guess the eggplant's lady mistaken you for a Thai man 😄 , I noticed that when people talking to you, including the ladies from the temple 🛕, everyone seems so nice, friendly and respectful by calling you Big Brother.
In Lao, Thai or Vietnam, everyone is considered like family: big brother, uncle, auntie, mom. You need to know your place in the age scale. Of course, sometimes we make a mistake or just want to "lift" up the other person and humble oneself. His Lao is probably similar to mine. We probably don't have the accent quite like the locals so they notice it right away.
@@Konbannok-sp4sg Then, you have time to visit other parts of Lao like Thakkek, Savannakhet and Pakse (See Phan don) as one big tour. There's the Thakkek loop done with motorcycle . The mountains are amazing. I want to do that the next time.
Over there in Laos how old do kids have to be for them to drive a motorcycle. I don’t know if my eyes are deceiving me but I could have swore I saw a couple of kids driving a motorcycle. 👉 🇱🇦 🏍

That's the beauty of Laos, everyone is friendly 😊. And yes, several people thought I was Thai.

12-13 year olds ride motor bikes in Laos. It's quite normal there.
@@shine0126 Really??? 🤨
@@judykhaleck8034 yep and don't be alarmed if you see 5 people on a motorbike (parents and 3 young kids). It's completely normal 😀.
Joe show us your new wife lol
Not yet, I'm still alone. Too busy looking at the food...lol
