Just a suggestion: crochet all the hair through the anchor braid, separate into 3 pieces and start braiding. It gives the knot less look unless you prefer the knot. 🤷🏾♀️

This video is a lifesaver. Now I can do box braids without having to use rubber bands. This will make the braids last longer and it makes me feel comfortable doing my own hair especially sleeping in the nighttime.
I like this style, gripping while attaching the braid is always so hard for me and I'll end up pulling up so it doesn't attach properly at the base and then one side will be shorter😂 this helps as i learn from these visual tutorials so I can do my own hair xo! Crotchet needle is in, spring twists first then I'll try with normal box braids. Thank you!

I can't figure it out. Ihope she does a tutorial on this just so she can explain how she separated the hair.
Mine aren't perfect AT ALL. I found most successful making all the parts from a pack up front and counting how many. So I break one pack into half. Then half those. Then half those (and continue to desired thickness). Not perfect, but way better than me eyeballing could do
