@@obthree2830 that’s not true. A lot of them surpass their parents. We remember the legends of sports kids but forget that there are a ton of high level athletes that have kids that end up becoming stars. Both parents being D1 athletes or just one of them.
That is very unlikely to happen. If this were the case then Scottie pippen's son would be just as Great as he was. Jordan's kids would be in the league. LeBron's kids would be the best to ever play the game and Tom Brady's sons with literally take over the league Have 12 NFL championships and play until the age of 55.

By the summer of 1989 when Tiger was 13, he was probably the second best junior golfer in the country behind 18 year old Justin Leonard who was set to start in the fall the University of Texas on a full ride golf scholarship.
13 year olds dont compete with the very best 18 year olds... they just dont. Yet Tiger did.
Charlie is very good... but hes was not competing with the best high school seniors when he was 13.
Most people dont really know how good Tiger was when he was young.
I cant tell you how shocking it was to see a 13 year old 115lb kid who was 5'3 hit 530y par 5's in 2 with ease... with a 2 iron for the second shot... with 1980's equipment. Or to watch him hit a 3-wood over the trees off the tee on a sharp dogleg when 16, 17, 18 year old players were hitting 2 or 3 iron to the corner of the dogleg because going over the trees was just too difficult.
Charlie will probably play at the highest level... but his dad was a multi-generational prodigy.
