You seems to give legitimacy for Tibet being invaded and ruled by the CCP by comparing the reign in the 1950s and under the control of the PRC. How would you know that Tibet would not progress under the Dalai Lama from the 1950s till today through its own religious and spiritual path rather than the materialistic path as you have portrayed? Tibet could jolly well be like Bhutan... its people being the happiest in the world.
The Bhutanese is happy because they are ignorant of the outside world. If they knew how poor they are when compare to the developed countries of the world, they won't be happy anymore.

China government liberated Tibetan and lead themselves into betterment. Western countries media and politicians hide many facts away as they intend to break Tibet away from China and temp India to invade these area like what they did with UK influence and support at Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
General perspective to TIbetan was living happily under the previous westernized Dalai Lama (whom have been living in US with millions being paid to him per annum) but people didn't know the serf system that had caused so much suffering, unjust, death etc. The western propaganda machinery cover up all these negative element and fact about the life in Tibet.
Now majority of them in Tibet are living in better environment, happier, modern and knowledgeable BUT China government and people must not let your guard down and takes thing for granted, those enemy will not stop their aggression to cause trouble in Tibet, Xinjiang and South China (well nothing much they can do to Northern and North West China now)

To be honest, there were less than 10% of population in Tibet at that time were regarded as human. They were nobles and religious lamas, while over 90% of the rest were serfs who were like livestock. They lacked food, had no clothes but only some cloth to cover the bodies, and had an average lifespan of less than 30. The ruling class in Tibet was expelled by the CPC, while the remaining serfs became proud Chinese citizens. Their population has now doubled, and their life expectancy far exceeds that of modern South Asian countries. Education, healthcare, and income are all close to the average level of China. And today, do you want to persuade them to bring back those cannibalistic nobles and religious leaders to continue enslaving them? You can try running to the center of any Tibetan community in Tibet and loudly proclaiming your idea. I'm curious how long you can hold out without being beaten to death

I noticed on RUclips there are some Tibetan name users, who would argue anything happens right now in the land of Tibet is the the most shitty situation. On one occasion I was explaining to a Tibetan name user he should go see the temples in Lhasa where believers bring countless offerings, exotic fruits,candy,food, alcohol and tea,this didn't happen 50 years ago. Walking into the tea house and seeing a full house of locals,man and woman,old and young socializing and having a good time, this didn't not happen 50 years ago. The world needs to know that it was PLA who truly liberated Tibetans from serfdom. According to Guardian news reporting at that time, 90% of Tibetans were slaves of different caste under a religious monarchy up to time of Dalai Lama who now lives in india. Uass has been financing the religious monarch in exile and india providing sanctuary using it as the Tibet card against China. Just compare the standard of living between Tibetans governed by PRC in Tibet and the Dalai Lama separatists living in india and one would undoubtedly appreciate what the Chinese government had done to not only free Tibetans from serfdom but also the spectacular transformation that happened in a few decades.

I visited Lhasa in 2010. What surprised me most when I visited Potala Palace was the luxury and amount of gold and jewery that were used to build the shrines of each of the past Dalai Lama were unbelievable. Buddhism belief is we come and leave this world empty handed, how come past Dalai Lamas' shrines in Potala Palace are so luxury ?

I am Indian and my grandpa use to visit lhasa, Tibet very often for trading. He told me that the people were very kind. I live in Uttarakhand which shares it's border with China and Nepal, I still get to visit my relatives in Nepal everday as the houses opposite to my house all are under Nepal.
I know that Nepalese people can enter Tibet through various illegal channels. Many have even settled in Tibet and applied to become Chinese citizens.

Here I'm a Napalese, speaking about Tibetan people's misery in the past, we've a very close acquaintance with Tibetan people historically and culturally_Before Tibet was liberated and reunited with China, the dalai lamas, predecessors of current dalai lama even persuaded the serfs (Tibetan people) to eat 'herbal medicine' that was made from his dehydrated feces turned into pills look alike. The serfs then were made to believe it in a true sense that they were indeed medicines. That is how horrible was the situation of Tibetan people in those days.

And based on our own experience growing up in China, people of all ethnic groups get along very well. Except for sometimes different diets and clothing, people from different ethnic groups simply ignore them at other times.

Fantastic video as always, Alex👍 I've been seeing many videos of small towns (county seat town) in Tibet lately (in Chinese) lately out of personal interest, just me being nerdy haha😂. I still don't understand the language tbh but I don't mind the language barrier and I can confirm with certainty they're all very modern and clean.
Even on the most remote part of China such as Mêdog (Motuo) County bordering the India state of Arunachal Pradesh, the main town itself is very modern and fitted with the latest infrastructure standard and public amenities (yes, modern supermarket too)! Native Tibetans also live there and enjoy a prosperous lifestyle contrary to the common beliefs🥰
The liberal west is extremely fearful of letting people know the real China, because it is an example of authoritarian conservative system that is able to build a prosperous country. The same reason why they always chat shit about Hungary (despite Hungary being part of the west) and discredit all the improvement made during the so called "authoritarian right" regime. The same reason why they are fear mongering when Italy vote for the so called "far right" during the latest election, or when the so called "far right" won in Israel. This is in contrast with how the librul left destroy civilized society, such as heavily increasing crime rate, increasing degeneracy, etc due to their unnatural outlook of life, and they are most fearful of the fact that more and more westerners realize that authoritarian conservatism is the only thing that can make their country great again.
