I did find it eventually. This video was filmed about 4-5 weeks ago - a while before I found it. However, guidelines on where to find it were a bit vague. Thank you for the point about hold, I had been told it was for hill start when I bought the car. Will try it when I get the car back from being repaired :) Have a good Christmas!
I’ve got the Corolla which the basically the same car and I would love the heated front screen and steering wheel. apart from that I love the car.took some getting used to the CVT gearbox
Well when the time comes to buy again, you know where to head...unless Toyota have changed their speec list by then. I completely agree with the CVT gearbox, but I also think the braking is hard to get used to.
@@VelocityKinetics could you elaborate plz, I ordered a Swace. Is it really that weak engine wise? For android play, plug your phone cable around the bottom left of the central console somewhere. Would be a bummer if it doesnt work.
@@lespaz1197 in terms of numbers it sounds it. But driving it around it isn't. The torque of the electric motor blends nicely with the combustion engine. There is a follow up video to this confirming android auto works and where to find the USB port
The 4 sensors on the front of the car are they for parking in szt I test drove a swace the other day and parked in to a parking space was waiting for a beep to tell me I was close enough to car on front of me no noise Just seeing if these are duds or are they proper sensors
Sorry for the delay in reply. The sensors on the grills I think are for the radar cruise control. However I also think part of that is located behind the rear view mirror. Having looked at pictures of the SZ5 I think they may be duds on the SZ-T, so the bodywork is the same and they just put the electronics in when it's being made an SZ5. Although with you asking this question it does make me think it's a little odd a car this size without parking sensors on at least on end of it.
@@VelocityKinetics Thanks for getting back to me I bought the car in the end delighted with it It's only the szt that we can get in ireland might look in to getting sensors fitted here as u said its a long car Also can you add in to your videos of the swace there's a net that pulls up in to the ceiling behind the back seats if u have dogs And if u fold down the rear seats the net can be removed and slolted in to the back of the seats and put up in to the ceiling behind drivers seat and passenger seat so noting slides up to u U won't see this in a simply clever skoda
Sorry for the delay in replying. I sorted it a couple of weeks ago, after I had recorded this video. That USB slot was hard to find, the angle I was looking at it before I found it was just impossible to see it. Also I think the handbook is written for LHD, so I was initially looking on the drivers side. But your help has been greatly appreciated :)
From what I gather a corrolla isn't as well equipped for the same price. But as covered in Ep. 102, because my Baleno had damage on the bodywork it was affecting the trade in price quite a lot as I nearly had a Skoda instead. Suzuki gave me a better trade in price.
@@VelocityKinetics Thanks for the reply and sorry if i sounded critical...yes I see there are differences in spec...a fine car, whatever badge, tons of space and bullet proof reliability probably
@@typhoontim125 no worries. A video I did a little while ago (maybe ep. 89 without looking) did ponder the why's about the Swace compared to the Corolla. Your comment has made me realise there is something else I haven't mentioned anywhere about the Swace was the price. The dealership I bought mine from had a sale event across all Suzuki's at the time with £3k off (no idea where is put's the price comparable to the Corolla). So mine was £22999 rather than the normal £25999
Usb for android and apple car play under dash in the middle, And press hold next to automatic handbrake when in traffic that's what it's for.

the heated steering wheel is crap..i ts only on the side.not on the top o button, so when you turn it, its cold and warm alternately
Android dose work other usb under dash board.

The Hold button does what you said you use the handbrake, P, button for; keeping the car still after stopping, while shift knob is still in Drive, D.
