I severely sprained my ankle similar to the way Russell sprained his after landing from a jump except i landed on top of someones foot. I ended up tearing my ligaments completely and its been 4 months i still have minor swelling around my ankle. I can’t run or jump at the moment due to pain. This is one of the worst basketball injuries to have. Hopefully its not that bad. No basketball player deserves these kind of injuries.
Dude yours is way more damage than usual. Jesus Christ mine was probably like 3 weeks at most usually it healed in like 1-2 weeks. Stay strong 💪🏽

I used to get mad as fuck when playing 2k and my players would miss games with an ankle sprain thinking a sprain was just ankle soreness. It wasn't til i sprained my ankle and actually found out what a sprain is that I realized sprained ankles really are no damn joke!

High ankle sprains take about 6-8 weeks. It looked like he was reaching toward the middle so I'm assuming it's a high one but lower ones can take one to three weeks
