In Chinese culture, 蛹 (yǒng) symbolizes the transformation and rebirth of life, carrying the hope and strength of emerging as a butterfly, representing the resilience and beauty behind every stage of growth. Love this film, so peaceful & empowering.
Sanagi: The Cycle of Things contains scenes of extreme contrast, night shots that in my opinion are quite pleasing. I don't note any smearing or noise problems in this video. This is how you do it. Thumbs up.👍
Brilliant short! I watched multiple times to truly absorb the beauty of this. This video and your other one, Aranui, are some of the best showcases of BMCC6K. But the camera is just a tool, and your work shows what it can do in the hands of a master crafter. Looking forward to more of your work.
Hi Guido, you work is so inspiring for a young dp like myself! Would you ever consider making a video going through your colour workflow, because your colour is some of the best I’ve ever seen.
I watched this film several times and just got addicted to the image these R lenses produced. The flare, the bokeh and everything. I really wanna know which specific ones did you use. Can't wait to get ones myself and try them immediately😆
@@guidopezz I have two questions: 1. What are you using for filtration? Screw on NDs? Matte box? 2. Which Leica R did you use for the shot at 2:16? That is such a beautiful shot
Absolutely stunning man, some of the best Leica R (BMCC 6k as well) footage I've seen. What has been your personal opinion on the image and color quality of this camera compared to the 6k Pro? I know some are saying that the new one has a better image. The colors out of the camera do look slightly different to me, not sure that is a surprise though since they have different sensors
Thank you! I absolutely love this camera. Actually, the sensor is the same, just a bigger size, but I love that full-frame look. I'm really happy with the images you can get in combination with Leica R lenses.
Did you notice any of the CMOS sensor smearing the low light situations? Just got mine today and in very dark shots if there is any light it creates bands.

Thank you very much :)
Beautiful images. This is probably my favourite thing I've seen from this camera online. The Full frame open gate sensor is something special.
Thanks man! Really appreciate it

Looking great. This should put an end to the stupid discussions, if the 6K can handle low light.
😂 thank you!
You’re an inspiration to us all Guido keep up the good work

Thank you! For this project I used the 24, 50 and 90mm.
@@guidopezz Thanks for replying! May I ask whether you used the 50f2 or the 50f1.4?
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thank you!!
Best image from the Bmcc 6k ff i’ve seen !
Thank you!!
What do you prefer in term of image quality between the Ursa 12k and the Bmcc 6k?
@@stephantuta5534 Well, the URSA is better but the BMCC is not too far behind. I really enjoy the FF look, so I'm excited to try the URSA FF.
@@guidopezz alright! Thank you for your valuable answer!
@@stephantuta5534 If you only consider image quality I would say the BM 6K FF has a better one. ruclips.net/video/yvqFUUhTBrw/видео.html

No, all manual!

I guess that happens with any camera if you don’t light the scene properly.
Good afternoon! What ISO did you use to create this backlight?
800 ISO

What focal lengths did you use? :)
