I am so tired of brands reformulating perfect items into this “clean” formula! Anyway, I thought your skin looked lovely when you first applied the foundation. Your makeup look was STUNNING ❤❤ and I hope you will be trying the Guerlain primer and Hermes bronzers! Oh and would you mind doing a top powder foundations video? Thanks ❤❤
Why did they have to reformulate this 😭 this was the best high-end powder for my dry skin. This was so dry looking when I tried it in store. I’m surprised I’m saying this but I actually think the new Maybelline Active Wear powder is maybe just as good as the old formula of the MUFE was. Looking past the TikTok hype, I think it’s really great.
I have this in my cart right now, but your review has me 100% believing I will stick with the OG. Which I love so very much!! Thank you for the excellent review. I am NOT a believer in the "clean beauty" trend and that made up my mind!!!
I have dry skin as well and don’t often go for powder foundation as many are drying. This seems less drying as it has no talc which I find always dries my skin. But I hate “clean” proclaims
Seriously why couldn’t they keep the old formula and just launch this as a different “clean” powder. Everyone would be happy! I’m so upset the old one is gone
The old one wasn’t a good match for me and I never really used it but I LOVE this one. The best color match for me and I loved how my skin looked all day but I do have to be easy when applying it to my forehead to avoid making them too noticeable. And for sure a lighter powder for my under eyes but overall I’m excited for this one.
I have very dry skin on top of being 40. I use an extremely hydrating skin routine and top with my Unseen Sunscreen. I think the KVD 107 concealer pairs beautifully with MUFE R210. I always apply the powder foundation with a round compact foundation brush. Everything you said about brush application I agree with. I'm really concerned about this reformulation though. If it's good for normal and oily skin, I'm really afraid it's going the be a poor fit. Thank the lord above I JUST opened a new "old" formula. I agree that time really helps the foundation get "married" to your skin. I do prefer to set with a moisturizing setting spray.
It can literally be just used as a purse “touch up” type of powder on the go…. At least it comes with a sponge where as many nowadays do not. My use for this will be a great touch up powder for at work type situations . I don’t wear powder foundation as an adult but I did when I was 13,14 for events I had to wear makeup in and didn’t want to wear foundation. . But fast forward 30 years and I love these kind of products . Makes life easy as a busy working mom etc ……
I have seen a few reviews. People that have oily skin are having issues. After 4-5 hours, their oils bursted through the powder. It doesn’t look nice. I have dry skin and powder foundation is tricky for me. I can make it work. I have to use a light hand during the application process. The shade match is also key. If I have the wrong shade, it is not going to blend seamlessly into my skin. It will look like a chalky mess. Finally, I have to prep with a moisturizer and use a glowy setting spray.
Thank you so so much for doing this great review! I kinda had some of the same worries as you did, but now I'm trusting the process and of course, I always always trust you!!
So handy for a Sun holiday as your skin gets more oily and as it’s powder doesn’t need to go into the airport liquid mini bag n talc free I think I might like it!
I have dry skin as well, and the only powder foundation I adore is the baked laura geller foundation. Have you ever tried their products?? Would love for you to see what you think about it. I have the baked foundation, bronzer, and blush that I love!!!
I want to try this but I'm having a hard time finding a good match. Fenty is the only powder foundation I've ever used that doesn't make me look orange or darker. I have a cool neutral undertone and most brands have no idea what cool or neutral is 🤦🏽♀️
I find that powders end up breaking up on my dry skin as the day goes on. My oils just don’t come through. I need the hydration. I want to like powder foundations so bad though, cause they look so nice! They just always end up looking ashy on my nose and chin. 😭
Oooohhhh Morgan! I really enjoyed how you added the chipper music to your montage at the end of your makeup application! Girl you had me dancing around my kitchen as I was prepping my brekkie for tomorrow 😂😅! Made my mood even better than it already was! I just enjoy watching you so much! While I cook, walk on my treadmill, relax, and OFC while I do my makeup! You are one of only 2 of the makeup influencers that I watch! Keep up the good work mama and thanks for all you do!
The old powder had talc in it which is AWFUL for people like me who are severely acne prone. I personally am excited for this because now I get to try it!
I’ve got so many liquid foundations but honestly they are mostly all fails as far don’t like how any of them look on me at the end of the day I will always reach for a powder/mineral ❤ I’m normal/dry
I don’t agree, they should buy their ingredients from a reputable source and just check them beforehand. We can’t just leave out water from a formula, just because “sometimes” it’s contaminated…that’s rather being stupid and lazy.
Thank you so much for this! I had similar concerns, absolutely love the eyeshadow look😍😍😍😍 I think for me at almost 40 years old its a pass for me it would just exaggerate my texture and wrinkles 🫣.....looks beautiful on you 😘
I’m thinking of buying as a setting powder for my face. I’ve got normal to dry skin. Do you think it would be good for that? I don’t live in the US, so the option of returning the product doesn’t exist. 💕
I have the bareminerals Barepro powder foundation. It works pretty well. I m using the Dupe " Artics" fingertip side " oval shape" brush for touch up under my eyes or anywhere else I needed it
32 shades and I couldn’t find a single one that worked for me. Went into Sephora 3 times and tried different shades; non of them offered the right undertone. In fact, I felt the undertones throughout were all orange. As someone with medium tan skin and true golden/yellow undertone, it was frustrating to not find a shade with a true golden undertone. However, the texture felt nice and the coverage was medium-full. Disappointed I won’t be able to use this powder foundation, though.
I wanted 2 love powder foundations so much bc I thout it would b easier bc it's a powder & foundation in 1 & whenever I set my foundation with a regular powder,it gets way2 dry,so I thought this would eliminate wearing a traditional setting powder, but unfortunately it didn't work out 4me,bc I tried 3different powder foundations & they all made my skin look terribly dry so back2 traditional foundation & setting powder.
This review is worrying me now 😂. This was my favorite powder for my dry skin. I have it in several colors. Good thing I bought backups for restock when there was a sale (I didn’t even know they were reformulating at that time). When the time comes I will check it out.
I’m so sad they changed this formula 😭 the old one wouldn’t budge, wouldn’t crease, looked amazing all day, etc. the new formulation looks good at first but creases and just doesn’t look as good throughout the day 😭
I really hate "clean" beauty. It's worse off for the environment and also the product usually gets worse. It's not like bite beauty didn't get of taste of how going clean can mess up bad. Who in the world is even clamoring for "clean-washing?" 🙄
Stop reformulating everything please. It ain’t broke, don’t “fix” it 😬 This May be an unpopular opinion, and I’m sure brands will do what they want to do whether we like it or not. The Body Shop went and reformulated their body butters and now they’re worse, I’m so sad! Now this seems to be “the thing” to have everything clean but maybe some things shouldn’t be messed with. Try it out with new products but why revamp the existing products and pass along this cost to us, the consumer?!
Tell me I’m not the only person who actively avoids buying makeup products labeled as “clean” and consider it a “con” instead of a “pro”. I’m health conscious and prefer “clean” eating and the same rings true for my hair care products and skin moisturizers; but I don’t want “clean” makeup products. Give me the hazardous ingredients in my makeup that make the products work like they have in the past. No part of my makeup should look natural and clean. I want it to punch me in the face, punch you in the face and scare my pets from the rich pigments, full coverage and highly efficient products. Anything labeled as “clean” by makeup brands is so weak in formulation, because of the removal of some chemicals and addition of other natural ones, that it’s not worth the money nor effort of trying to apply it.
No, you are not the only one. I would prefer my makeup to stay “dirty”… It has been tested for decades and there is a reason why certain ingredients were used. People are so gullible and act holier-than-thou, while using subpar products.
What is this "clean" products fad? There's no law that defines what needs to be included/excluded in formulas for makeup products. I've heard it relates to "natural" ingredients - well, a big heap of mud is "natural" but I don't want it in my makeup!! There are "natural" products that are irritants to the skin!! I don't need "natural" ingredients, I just need safe ingredients. I wish brands would stop trying to cash in on the (incorrect/misinformed) hype - I also wish they're STOP reformulating perfectly good products only to replace them a substandard product. This powder foundation isn't for me, my face would look like the Sahara desert. I don't produce ANY oils throughout the day - yes, my dry skin is very dry. Also, I honestly didn't like how it looked on you at the first check-in, especially, the undereye area and your top lip. Sorry 🙏🏻 Thank you so much for marking this review, it's really helped me 👍👍👍 Love you Morgan, 🌸💜🌸💜🌸💜🌸
Tbh the shade looks to lite on your skin tone…& it looks very cakey… I love makeup forever..& it never looked this cakey.. the new formulation isn’t great..

Yes, a top power foundation video would be great, I agree 😊
Haha yeah how dare they clean up the ingredients in their products
Why did they have to reformulate this 😭 this was the best high-end powder for my dry skin. This was so dry looking when I tried it in store. Well because talc is about to be forbidden is cosmetics so no choice (at least in EU)
I have this in my cart right now, but your review has me 100% believing I will stick with the OG. Which I love so very much!! Thank you for the excellent review. I am NOT a believer in the "clean beauty" trend and that made up my mind!!!
They removed the talc because talc is known to contain asbestos at times.
@@lisahart1267 That is absolutely stupid, they should know were their talc is from. I can’t stand this “clean” trend!

Will definitely be watching when you do the split face of the old/new! ❤❤❤
Now this is what I call a proper first impression review. Thank you for always keeping it real Morgan! 🙌
Seriously why couldn’t they keep the old formula and just launch this as a different “clean” powder. Everyone would be happy! I’m so upset the old one is gone
I heard MUFE sent lighter and darker shades to show the range that it could also highlight or contour.
I love the original in a few shades deeper for bronzer. I need more coverage on my cheeks so it makes the perfect bronzer for me.
I think a lot of companies are trying to be more clean, like without talc. Asbestos can’t be separated from talc, so it’s risky to use.
Will you please try the new Tarte powder foundation too that’s getting such good reviews?
Why oh why do they mess with perfection?!!!🥹🤦♀️🤦♀️

Great, so they changed the formula and now it doesn’t work for anybody?
Well, then the foundation will stay “clean” as nobody will want use it…
that was the cutest thing ever at the end when you were talking to your husband. 🥰 adorable!

Do you think this will work well with mature skin?
I tried it ! it works perfect with mu oily dark circles
I saw tati using shade 455 to use as a bronzer, could you try it as well? Would love to see what you think about this?
The side of the sponge is more integrated with the skin, while the brush gave a powdery appearance to the fac
Ok what kind of pie 😂😂😂 🥧

I'm so glad they removed the talc.
Also, I don’t think it’s going to be as dry. Talc is very drying, and they took that out. Less dimethicone will mean it’s not as ‘flexible’.
Some talc contains asbestos. So I respect that Makeup forever removed the talc.
I don’t agree, they should buy their ingredients from a reputable source and just check them beforehand.

I’m not in the market for a new foundation, but here for Morgan time! 👋
Please tell me your fave powder foundations. Please!
I’m thinking of buying as a setting powder for my face. I’ve got normal to dry skin. Do you think it would be good for that? I don’t live in the US, so the option of returning the product doesn’t exist. 💕
Love your reviews as always Morgan
Morgan, did you try this product with any cream bronzers/blushes? Wondering if that would work.
is the new MUFE powder foundation better than the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation?
That’s what I want to know. My Studio Fix is almost finished and I don’t know if I replace it or buy something else 😅
Currently buying up stock in my 3 shades- winter, spring and summer. WHY MUFE?!?!?!?!? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Love the review. Love your eye look.
Maybe you should try to apply powder foundation with the Shiseido hanatsuki haki face brush 🤔 can sheer and layer the foundation better.
I have the bareminerals Barepro powder foundation. It works pretty well. I m using the Dupe " Artics" fingertip side " oval shape" brush for touch up under my eyes or anywhere else I needed it
Nonononono!!!! WHY REFORMULATING THIS?? I am so maaad 🙈
The eye look tho 😍😍
The previous powder was my favorite. Only bought it twice in its lifetime.. should’ve grabbed a third 😭

Hi it feels like you are describing my skin tone..what is your mac shade for reference ?anything you find closer to your skin tone ?
I just purchased and I am going to return it tomorrow
What eyeshadow are you wearing? I noticed it wasn’t listed, but looks beautiful😍.
I believe it is Odens eyexLauren Perfect world Sea talk pallete!
Mac has come up with dewy skin tint review it if possible
Why didn’t you address the color change between skin care and the foundation?
I m never goi g to rub anything on my skin after applying sunscreen like u did the primer 😅

How would you compare this to the new NARS advanced powder foundation?
On sale at Sephora right now
So, what's on your lids? I saw the liner but what's the sparkle?
I am so glad I have a unopened OG as a back up. Loved the original

Thanks for the review.
is it cool toned?
I’m passing on this but thank you for the review .
Your bare skin looks so beautiful Morgan!
I never wear powder foundation as foundation.
waiting for the comparison half of the face :)
In all the demo videos I’ve watched so far, everyone’s skin has looked dry. I have very dry skin, so I will definitely be skipping this.
I’m so sad they changed this formula 😭 the old one wouldn’t budge, wouldn’t crease, looked amazing all day, etc. the new formulation looks good at first but creases and just doesn’t look as good throughout the day 😭
Gorgeous 😍
pleaseee stop the clean trend loll i want my makeup to last, not get weird in a few months :'(

NOT FULL COVERAGE AT ALL
