I have a stone could heart I’m heartless that’s what all my friends say when we wact a Heart breaking movie and I don’t cry oh and my cousin too is heartless
I know what it is like to think that way but, that's an old quote and it isn't true. You don't have to take on the world by yourself. There is help out there. People don't want others to feel like they have to go through bad and hard things alone. The only time you cry alone is when you choose not to let your feelings be known to others.
Basically this film is called Jo Jo Rabbit and it is about Nazi Germany. The boys mother decided to try and help Jews and since she was German the Nazis hung her. It is a truly sad moment because the movie emphasizes her shoes just to show them hanging. She also ties his shoes in the film which is why he feels the need to tie hers. This is the part in the movie when the young boy stops believing the Nazis are good people and stops idolizing Adolph Hitler.
If anyone interested there is novel with similar boy in the ww2 time which mom is Polish but working as a prostitute in German Danzig, Gdańsk. Boy is mental sic and the movie is heartbreaking. Name is: The Tin Drum.
Its always ok to cry man...just not in front of a women. Cry alone as a man. I do it everyday. I get im breaking my point by admitting it but this is for you. Pain is real and crying lets you know the pain is real.
The saddest part is that he couldnt even tie the shoelace...his mother myst have done it Every single time for him (showing that his mother does everything for him and without her the boy cant do anything).
It was a callback bc she was teaching him how to do it in the beginning of the movie. He goes through a lot and it's easy for us to forget how young he is (and children of war/poverty in general). This scene highlights it by bringing that reference back
Jojo Rabit, the movie that made me sob in tears. I cried so hard when I saw that scene, like the pain of losing the one you love the most, and even worse that’s your mother 😢
What makes Jojo Rabbit such an incredible movie isn't the humor or plot line but how it tells a story. We are brainwashed into thinking and learning we are the best. Until you dig deep enough and discover the truth, no one is. You learn that only you can choose who to side with and watch the world burn.
Movie name: jojo rabbit Its the scene where her mother who was an anti-nazi was executed for treason...and her shoes represent her entire presences in the childs life...damn this scene was ducking emotional
The boy knew his family were dead when he followed the butterfly and would have easily seen them, but the butterfly was his only companion in this moment and following it was his only source of strength that would bring him to confront the worst experience and loss of his life. He tried to fix his mother’s laces in an helpless effort to bring back a loving bond which had already been broken. So sad.
What the saddest part is that the world can and has been like this, and not understanding why or how we could treat one to another in cruel, evil ways.
Jojo Rabbit was a movie full of ups and downs but this scene hit like a ton of bricks, as soon as you see the shoes, you know it’s his mom and you realize that Jojo will never be the same
For context: This scene took place at the end of WW2 and the woman hung was his mother. The reason why she was hung was because if you were caught hidding a Jewish person in your home you were either taken to a concentration camp with that Jew or killed by the Nazis right in front of your house
The movie name jojo rabbit, context: the boy you see, his mother was helping hide a jew and they were in Germany and she was found guilty and hung in the public, he was at a camp so he didn't know.
I haven't even seen the movie but I know its Jojo Rabbit. I was in a mood to cry and this clip really helped a lot. Gotta watch this. It gives me The Boy In The Stripped Pajama vibes.
Guys in life you need to be fierce and strong. When you get into situations that make you wanna cry just get up and say I'm better then this.-a message my uncle gave me before he passed from covid he had a family and all I miss him😭😭😭😭RIP
This scene is extremely sad and infuriating, reminds me of ‚The Boy in the striped Pyjamas‘, both movies had me in tears, luckily here it’s actually not the ending of the movie. The final scene of the ‚mist’ is downright soul crushing. A real masterpiece from the King of Horror.
One of the best movie. It's this that does it for me. Yeh OK it's a black comedy drama but this scene is so powerful u can't but help feel and pity the kid regardless him being a German
For anyone wondering this movie is JoJo rabbit (very good movie) and the reason he’s crying is because the person whose legs he’s hugging is his mom who was hung for “treason”
Dont act like you have any basis of what is like to be around hanging corpses at a local square, Sinema sin. Corpse are rotten, they are shrinking loosing their volume. Flies are laying eggs. Their face is unnatural because all of their muscles realised. It isnt something you want to take a deeper look, or that greatly represent how the person looked when they were alive. Also just a daily basis, would you always spot your mother from a distance when she is standing around other people in the backround while you are focusing on something else? Next time before you talk down on great film makers first ask yourself, do i have irl experience with it, did i read about the topic from proper sources?

For yall who dont get it, along time ago they used to hang people up on this pole when they died. And the boy noticed that his mother was on there.
No they hung here because she was spreading anti nazi propaganda
So really he was used to it before his mom was on the pole

If this was a real hanging, you'd see the actors' fingers. But they're likely holding onto the bar with their hands.
It broke my heart that scene 💔 so shocking
The only thing it can make me cry its when characters died and everybody screams and crying
