It's weird but these videos help my depression enormously and i don't know why exactly. Even though these are all movie scenes, it really helps to see other people struggle too, just to know I'm not alone. Sounds dumb but it really helps, thanks for making these.
if oyu have no way to release stress, it only piles up until it overflows into some mental breakdown. watching stressful events, imo, is close to maladaptive daydreaming, when you imagine bad stuff to the point that it helps you to release stress.
For me it triggers crying, something that I can't do on my own. Then I get a headache so I can finally go to sleep. Not that I always need to cry in order to sleep, but it helps silence the thoughts sometimes
Nick Nolte's character in Warrior was pure genius. A guy who realizes what he was, attempts to change, but his sons won't completely forgive him, so he falls off the wagon, and his sons reconcile without him. And him seeing them walk arm in arm out of the arena without interacting with them is his way of letting them go. Its such an underrated movie.
2:55 most of you won’t understand but just look at the scenery in this clip. It makes this scene so especially sad. It makes you feel all alone and in a dark grey area feeling like your drowning slowly
Three reasons this scene came to be 1.Family thinks Sam(Tobey's character) is dead 2.He's paranoid due to war-and due to being forced to shoot his fellow soldier(whose wife is,according to Wikipedia, played by Carey Mulligan, same actress as Daisy in The Great Gatsby and Sissy Sullivan in Shame) 3.His young, distant daughter had the audacity,or rather stupidity(then again, she's either 8 or 9),to tell her father,in his face, about the cheating Tell me how could it not be emotional?
@@tagu661 If you watch the movie 1) he was basically declared dead and the "relationship" with her brother in law developed over a period of many months which began as an innocent gesture 2) its very grey because yes kissing is cheating but also her husband was declared dead so is a kiss considered cheating or is she just moving on? ALSO they never had sex or anything all they ever did was share ONE KISS 3) this is an amazing movie with stellar acting
I love prisoners so much, idk y it doesn't get talked about more! It's in my top 5 of all time an that's saying something. It is literally a perfect movie, the story, the acting, everything about it is perfect, they both did such a great job an for it to have not won any awards is a shame.
I watch these sad segments, because I bottle up my grief. Not because I think I would be weak to show emotion. I bottle up my life because I don't have the privilege to confide my hurt with anyone. Being alone isn't difficult because you're alone, it's difficult when you're alone with a busted heart. So when I watch these scenes play out, I allow myself to match with the energy, an escape so to speak. Cheers.
All of these male actors are gorgeous ! Jake Gyllenhaal, Tom Hardy , Toby Maguire, Christian Bale, Hugh Jackman , Johnny Depp, Michael Fassbender, Ben Affleck, Mathew McConaughey 💋
I really liked Shame. Steve McQueen is an awesome director. Michael Fassbender has great roles in all this movies with the exception of his last, Widows.
jason bateman’s sleazy character in state of play is so underrated and to me it feels like he plays the same character in everything so it was a nice role for him to get

The fact that Hugh Jackman didn't win an Oscar for that performance is a crime against humanity

The movie isn't underrated, the plot fell off the edge and didn't make a God damn sense toward the end of the second half, if I remember correctly.
Prisoners is one the best movies ever made
