The mushroom cap to snake eyes is badass.
This illustrates the eternal struggle between the SET and the SNAKE PIT very well. An interesting detail is that here the mushroom is apparently the snake in disguise. The mushroom is generally friendly to the badgers whereas the snake is clearly hostile. Does the mushroom have snake nature or does the snake have mushroom nature? Do we all have a mushroom and snake inside of us?
Inside all of us there is a mushroom and a snake. Whichever one we feed is the one that grows

This was hilarious back when I first came across the original but now I have so much nostalgia for this song I don't find it "funny" anymore, It's just great jam to rock-out down memory lane, (and yes I bob up and down while listening to it) remembering the simpler times of the early days of the internet. When stuff like this wasn't just shoved in your face, information wasn't easy to come by. You had to either come across by chance or through word of mouth. That's what made this and several other "classic" videos from back in the day, so awesome. If You show the original flash Badger Badger Badger to a kid now, they most likely wouldn't understand. Yes I made a somewhat heartfelt post on a Badger Badger Badger video!
I agree man, with the algorithms being fully "SHOVE IN FACE ANYTHING TRENDY NOWNOWNOW" from YT and reposts on TikTok if anything like this gets popular you see it immediately.
Hearing about it from a friend then going home at the end of the day to load up win XP and google searching badger badger badger badger badger to find this.. It carried a unique charm and feeling to it. You could find things that your friends hadn't heard before, having inside jokes not everyone in class would immediately understand or go "I found that last week that's old now".. You'd need to wait in anticipation to be able to return home and boot up your PC to try and find it using the note your friend passed to you rather than them just whipping out a mini computer in class and playing it for you right there.
I feel like I was lucky enough to grow during this sweet spot in technology and services where a lot of things were possible, like RUclips, social medias, online games and stores like early Steam, but before everything got extremely corporate, ad click and monetized focused and AI algorithm worshiping, mass reposting and low effort content like mass "react videos" where they stare at a screen while a video plays in a small corner of the window and they smirk a few times and occasionally pause it and go "lul i like the colour blue lul".
It's sad that the era has come and gone so fast as it had such a feel and experience to go with it that'll never be replicated!
Edit: Some people are restoring MSN messenger for the lols and it actually mostly functions, installed it for a bit to play with it and talk to a few friends who also used it and the thing just has a charm to it that things like Discord just don't have

Ever tried Googling something only to get a load of results that have nothing to do with what you want? How about a load of AI written "articles" that are complete rubbish?
At least if you searched something online in the early days, you would actually get something like what you wanted. Now it's near impossible to find info about anything that isn't "trendy".

I was at Secret Garden Party years ago, I swear they had a house version of the Badger Badger song in the stage in the middle of the forest, near where I was camping. That place gave me no peace, every time we went back to the tent to rest a bit we couldn't help but come back out to that stage!
