I had heard so many complaints about Hulk that I didn't buy him until recently because I found him on sale. After playing with him a few times I concluded he wasn't as bad as everyone made it sound like. But he was also much better in multiplayer than solo. I like the deck you played with. Makes me want to explore some more Hulk solo options. Thanks for playing.

I'm really surprised that you didn't keep banner's lab at the beginning to help you build up your board. You also would have recovered more throughout the game since you switched to alter-ego and healed up multiple times.
I think resourceful is such a slept on card for someone characters like hulk, nova, and jubilee. Wild resource or if you run out of stuff to spend it on, pay a resource to have it for later.
You also could use thunderclap for the last 3HP at the end since it is not an attack, only a hero action

You played Hulk's triple resource card in alter ego, which he can't do. His resource card can only be played in hero form.

Your videos have inspired me to play more one handed lately. It’s so much faster and smoother than 2 handed. I see benefits to both play styles (I do agree you can play a lot more diverse decks two handed) but i feel that solo play is relaxing fun for me, and two handed is more ‘thinky’ with more mental overhead.
Also I swear this has nothing to do with losing to Ultron expert 12 times in a row two handed but beating him immediately solo
Opposite for me. I played more 2 handed when he played more 2 handed or with Novel
Didn’t really matter but only Hulk have triple resource, puny Banner can’t use his resource. :(
With hulk I would change only 2 things. The hand size to 6 in alter ego and the super hero ability to look similar to hulk ally
Yeah, I think when I see a lot of these ‘Hulk fixes,’ they tend to over correct him into busted territory. Simply increasing his hand size and giving him a hero ability that isn’t a negative is enough for the big green guy.
Hulk was good…. And yet never really played any cards lol. Great watch! Btw the last move, you took retaliate but Taskmaster II was eliminated, so you wouldn’t take the retaliate right? Just curious if I have the situation where I have one HP and kill the villain with retaliate

I noticed in this video, especially near the mid to end game, you seem a lot more concerned about Hulk’s health than I usually am about my heroes. I didn’t think he was low (it’s been a couple days but I think even 8-9+). Were you concerned about getting killed or was there other reasons? I’m thinking like how the solo champions league has a hero health score.
I knew that when I made the flip on the villain I wouldn’t be able to flip back down. I was worried I would get stuck in a spot that I wouldn’t be able to still control everything and would cause me to rush. I was playing overly safe probably
