Mushrooms tend to have a lot of water, so I find that frying/toasting them on a nonstick pan on their own first evaporates the water. It also brings out the best of the mushroom flavour. Afterward, I add the butter and garlic toward the end and do a quick stirfry.

Great job on your breakfast meal prep Susie. You can also bake your omelets in a muffin tray and freeze them too. They freeze really well too and you just reheat however many you need.

I do sheet pan pancakes now Suzy,I bake my pancakes in the oven dont have time for that stove thing lol, also i tried your bread that 150 counting is the best tip ever was always struggling to make bread, but because of you my bread came out amazing. I looooove mushrooms 😋 you can't overcook them, and they add umami to every savory dish. Stirfry, stew, casserole, sauces, graveys, literally everything! And they go excellent with bacon and eggs, steak and fries, just sautéed in butter or the fat/juices of your meat omg 😋😋 try them fried with banana on waffles or plain pancakes, sooooo good!! They let out a lot of water, so washing should just be wiping the dirt off the tops with a damp paper towel or they will absorb more water. Always brown them in a hot pot or pan so they don't steam. They are also excellent raw in salads or sandwiches. Ooh and toasted sandwiches with cheese 😋!

I have Aussie friends who have lived in Tanzania for 10 years and it has been fascinating seeing that country from their perspective, but it gave me a quick understanding of how diverse Africa is, and how different each culture is. Just like South America- my Chilean culture is different to others, even though many Australians think all of us are like Mexicans. 🤦🏻♀️

Brilliant. What you can do so the mushrooms are cooking in it's water after you have washed it is to dry fry them first. I clean and wash mine then put them in the frying pan without anything. When the pan begins to heat up the mushrooms begin to release the water and evaporate. When it evaporates the water then I add in the oil and garlic making the mushrooms very tasty with texture to them.
Also, the fresh toast you've made isn't french toast as it is only made by using beaten egg and cream with cinnamon and then of course you dip your bread in it and fry.

peppers and onions freeze very well. just chop and spread out on a cookie sheet and place in freezer for 1 hour and then bag in portions how you use them....time saver.
