Great demonstration and explanation. Thanks for identifying the size (36mm) of the axle nut.

What strength Loctite do you recommend?

Very helpful video. Saw a mistake though that many people make. If your torque wrench clicks without rotating the bolt at all then the bolts were over tightened with the impact.

Thank you for the clear step by step tutorial. The bearing on my yukon was siezed on and was very difficult to remove. Other than that your video saved me $$$. I didn't have to pay a mechanic. Thanks so much

My 2017 Yukon xl 4wd, I used a 6point 35mm Deep socket, something I learned the hard way, good thing i ordered a new axel nut, I probably could of used the old one but it was getting round.

I liked how the wheel hub just fell out, I have never seen one come out so easily.

Hi I have a 2018 Yukon SLT with 22” wheels. It has a really loud hovering noise that drives me crazy. It gets louder the faster you go. I have a video of it and can’t post but I was curious
If you thought it would be a bad bearing. It’s coming from the front right. Only has 40,000 miles. Going to replace front axle fluid in a day or two when it comes in. My concern there is we bought it from a Mercedes’ dealer who said they replaced all the fluids, brakes and tires.
Well these screwballs didn’t put a gasket on the oil drain plus and drilled the nut into the oil pan and scoured it up good so I can only image What else they did.

Is this similar install for a 2017 escalade?

+Manuel Duran This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ

It should be the same 2015-2019 Silverado’s, Tahoe’s, suburbans, Yukons, Escalades and Sierras are all very similar
