@@TonyDeLotell One is pitching on a team that absolutely sucks and the other is pitching with one of the best starting pitcher groups in MLB. Calm down with the WAR crap.
I see it as that the Reds are actually developing a respectable, if young, starting pitching staff. Which the reds didn't have for a pretty good while.
@@Vic-Vega let’s start with the record the reason Hunter doesn’t have at least 10 wins by now is the fact that our hitters when he pitches they can’t hit the ball which results in losses, ERA now the only reason Abbott has a better ERA is the fact that Hunter Greene had one bad start when he was puking on the mound and it tanked his ERA. Walks it is all about consistency and that is not Abbott has he had a recent outing with 7 walks maybe more, atleast Hunter is consistent and isn’t having his stats jumping up and down. HBP that is just who Hunter is, Andrew can have that stat.
You have to look into the more advanced stats, they are nearly identical in every stat. The only 2 stats that are noticeable difference are ERA and FIP. Abbott has the better ERA, but Greene has the better FIP. I’m not an expert in the statistics of pitching but I believe this means that Abbott basically is luckier than Greene with his pitching (FIY: FIP focuses solely on the events a pitcher has the most control over - strikeouts, walks, hbp’s, homeruns)
also the dolo and green dap up, the two main aces in cinci

I'm happy for Greene, but Abbott being overlooked for Greene is curious. Abbott is having a much better season.

No he isn’t and it isn’t even close😂
@@Average.prodzzzBetter record, ERA, fewer walks, and WAY fewer HBP.
It's at least an argument, c'mon.
