He sings from his stomach and closes his throat in a way. I’ve finally got it down but shii will hurt if I don’t warm up or go full force into it. It’s a terrible technique with good results.

live and loud is so underrated. it really sounds like he found his vocal character and his voice had matured by that point to where he wasn’t stuck doing his nasally thing he had been from 91-92
He's a masterpiece of grunge and he didn't deserve what happened to him.. But i always find it amusing how he performed so gracefully even when in pain or sing it in the wrong key to mess with his fans 😭💗

Saw them at the Armory in Philadelphia. The place turned into a huge mosh pit/dance club. We had a blast and Nirvana played great. I couldn't believe that he killed himself when I heard. Shattered my views on human nature. He had everything he ever wanted and still wasn't happy enough to fight through it and get help. Left behind a beautiful daughter. I've battled depression my whole life and the only thing that has saved me is my kids. Especially my little girl. I've never loved anything as much as I love her and my boy. I'm so lucky to have two incredible kids. Of anyone out there is thinking about suicide, please give your life more time. You never know what the future holds.
