I had no idea this existed. I like the final version more for what it’s used for (actually one of my favorite songs in the entire soundtrack) but I have to wonder why they didn’t use this during the first “boss fight” against Ei that you can’t actually win. The complete silence did help set a mood at first but you’re left fighting her for a fairly long time before the game stops you from what I remember.
Because this was never intended for the battle against Narukami no Mikoto. It just got into the beta by mistake or as a test. The instrumentation is clearly more in line with music of the Chasm and doesn't sound anything like what Inazuma music sounds like, but because people first discovered this track in 2.5 beta they refuse to rub two braincells together and think that the developers actually intended this track to go with that boss battle.

Millelith's watch is the album, CD3, if I'm not mistaken, the finalized version is called Tremor of Menace (or maybe that's the version with Chinese instruments on top) Edit: yes, this is Tremor of Menace. There's also Irresistible Force, the version with Chinese instruments on top that was used for some events mostly
Those little piano bits at the very beginning are nice, in fact if most of the chasm's battle themes are KH2 sounding, this would be more like Hallow Bastion from KH1.
Ohhhh this one was it from that leak! I was forgetting that something felt different from what we heard and saw from leak. This theme doesn't really fit Raiden its very much western. I wish this ost can be used in may be traveler archon quest or another trounce domain boss fight of may be a fatui.
Probably not. Since he is part of the fatui. So his theme would be fatui themed. My best prediction is it will be used for some type of revelation in which we fight someone of great importance. (Has some Against all odds OST vibes. )
People really got pissed off at the new quest. But they don't understand the meaning behind it. This is how mihoyo writes their stories. Even Honkai players keep saying the story always starts that way. Pieces with little help to connect them. They did warn us though that their is a chance that someone next will be killed off.

It got remixed for The Chasm as the third battle theme. The remix is quite good and the theme fits the area very well.
