ALSO I go into the differences with the Opel / Holden / Vauxhall steering wheel and the differences in removal and installation.

Just in case, on Regal it is enough to turn original steering wheel's 6 o'clock just up, and there will be enough space to release the bottom of airbag. No need to remove so many parts

I tried and at least on this version it was covered. I could be wrong.. BUT in any case, the covers were easy enough to remove. The whole steering wheel needs to be replaced if your doing a Opel or Vauxhall conversion as the airbag for the Opel/Vauxhall doesn't fit the Buick wheel.

What was the torque spec for the steering wheel bolt? I'm not finding it anywhere...

Actually come off pretty easy as it is splined and not a force fit. So 30lbs give or take will do it.

@@charlesgoin8217 Thanks! I got it off no problem but wanted it properly torqued as I didn't want to repeat this job (and the steering wheel is a bit of a critical safety item)

@@Supernoma thus not go too tight. Otherwise you may mess up the splines. If it were to be too tightly tightened it wouldnt have loctite on it :) 20-30 ft lbs would be safe in both directions

If I'm simply switching one wheel to another it's basically pop off old and then push in new and bolt together?

Do they have the same connectors can I just swap the hole wheel or do I have to do the bag only?
