Frankie was an innate trendsetter, forging his unique style. Every subtle move he made was distinctly his own. He exuded captivating charm, keeping spectators guessing with each unpredictable action. Those fortunate enough to know him carry an indelible mark left by his presence. Gord, a gentle spirit, never encroached upon others. Steve, a silent force, awaited his moment to convey his essence. Dave, a compassionate and amiable individual, graced us with his presence. It was an absolute joy to have crossed paths with each and every one of them.
Deepest regards to those closest to him. My god, this is unreal. To hear and see that man play a guitar was an otherworldly experience. What a gift Mr. Lewis gave all of us. RIP
Only just found out about this and I'm gutted. Gord was such a huge part of a legendary band and yes, by all fan accounts a truly down-to-earth, approachable guy from the Hammer. Sincerest condolences to the rest of his family and friends.
Back in the late 70's you couldn't go to a house party in the Hammer without Teenage Head being blasted ..Thank You Gord for all the great memories of long nights Rocking out in the Hammer...
Noooooo! Gord struggled so hard since Venom died. I’m exactly their age and spent my teen years around London. It was always an event when they came to town! I moved west in 1979 for ten years, and saw them several times in Calgary. I moved back to Ontario for 35+ years and caught them a number of times - even after I grew up! I’m a life long musician and raised kids and paid off a mortgage thru the music biz. I had to wear many many hats to do so, and the most lucrative were NOT as a performer! lol I’m retired, and writing this from Lake Country, north of Kelowna BC. I’ve just moved here a few months ago, and I’m a happy old dude! My heart bleeds for Gord and his family and band brothers. I will never forget Teenage Head. Peace
God Blessed us all with Our Gord. He was the best of musicians that I have had the pleasure to know. Gord is with Frankie again jamming like no tomorrow. Frankie rushed my stage as Gord sat back and smiled with his thumbs up. I was just an entertainer that loved covering TEENAGE HEAD. Thank you Gord for the many years of friendship RIP GORD
My thoughts and prayers go out to Lewis family not much you can say about gord that hasn't already been said other then loved by many . Rest in peace gord 😎
