Look how many adults there are, they grow up, they make more. These things r SO much tougher than people realize. Think about it, the second they pop out they can cling while mom runs up trees, they're between the mother & tree bark, not some nice smooth texture, while the mother slide down the tree, usually fast, they cling while mom's running, jumping, fighting, having a male impregnating her, again. Any time anyone feels bad they need to watch the videos of how these things destroy people's homes & increasingly, the people inside them, since getting their hands on human food. In Yamaguhi Japan macaques have bitten elderly people's feet, badly to point many r afraid to go outside. A sweet little human babies beautiful little chubby legs were shredded by a macaque. People in India who can't afford glass or screens have to hang their food in bags on strings as high up the walls as possible, they can't have furniture near the walls cuz the macaques get in & take their very much needed food. As a troupe, including babies & small ones, did this, the human lady held her little baby against her pretending to be asleep, hoping they'd leave, after ruining her & babies food, nope, they attacked her, biting, clawing from back of head to feet. Thankfully, her little human child wasn't injured. These things r not fragile, I hear people go on bout the babies, not so much the adults, every adult was a baby. They r not the nicest animals. To each their own, but really, there r plenty of them.
Yes it can be a very ruff and sad life for them some worse than others! The other animals can be quite cruel and then they also have to deal with cruel people as well and it is heartbreaking!
Someone suggested this baby is blind. Or maybe nearly blind. Looking at all the videos on this thread of shorts, I came to the same conclusion. I think he’s blind. That would explain Mom being so over the top to the point of abuse as he gets past the newborn stage. Gotta train him to survive on his own, and will be way harder for him. And he is definitely male! Those of you that insist he is female must also be blind. And that’s a leaf or flower on his chest. It falls off when he turns over.
