Han probably wrote secret secret ages ago but i can tell you that in several mv making and skz talker videos that went up this comeback he was singing day6, even of day and young k's new title track lol
This video really does feel like a spiritual successor to I Am You, Voices and I just adore their more emotional tracks and how it gives the MV's a chance to showcase the more raw side and "brotherhood" moments between them

Scars was written at the end of 2019 (as we all know that was the hardest year for SKZ) backstage at Music Bank during their promotions for Levanter (if I'm not mistaken - I'm pretty sure that's what they were promoting). It's all about the trails and tribulations the group went through - pre debut to debut, to a few years into their career. It's such a sad but also uplifting song

"Surfin'" is GREAT as an MV, but you're right, it's not my favorite song to just play in the background either. "Gone Away" is NOT connected to the SKZU but it totally could be. As for "Scars", that is most definitely connected and I think you pointed out some things that connect back to previous MV's that I missed.
