Neha, Thank you for explaining it in detail. Few more questions. You mentioned that you will provide sleeping bags. What about sleeping pads? Can I bring my own sleeping bag? 2. What about trekking poles? 3. Is it a 3 person tent, good enough for 2 with their gear,? Tent has to be shared with another person in the group, right? Thanks, Ranjit.
1. Sleeping pads are not required, you’ll be provided with rubber mats and blankets
2. Ya you can bring your own sleeping bags, but make sure it has the right kind of insulation to withstand the cold temperatures

4. The tents are spacious enough to accommodate 2 people with their gears
5. Treks that run above 13000ft its three-person per tent, anything below that two per tent

Shall I take Waterproof jacket to trek to Gaumukh (Gangotri) or Poncho. Which can confirm my Backpack safety from getting wet in rain or snow fall. Although, I’ve backpack rain cover too.
Pls advise a little early, leaving for Gangotri soon.

Is there a chance separate transport can be arranged if we cant make it to the vehicle pickup at dehradun on time . I see only SUVs and tempo only mentioned . If explicity for group of 3 or 4 members a sedan for example

Does the fee includes trek insurance if yes to what extent if it covers emergency evacuation.

do individuals come on trek or do they come in groups. I wonder if I will be left out if I come alone.

We will give you sleeping bags on your very first camping day. They are included in the trek fee.

Yes! Our trek leader's medical kit consists of all of these regular medications as well, along with high altitude medicine and equipment.

Hi Neha . How many people are generally there in a single trek ? Do you'll have any limit?
When I recently contacted IndiaHikes for the same query, they told they put a limit of maximum 25 people per trek.

If a trekker gets tired mid way and wants to stop, how do you plan to handle that?
Meeting the Fitness requirements for every trek is very important, During medical emergency or if the trekker is not able to trek further, they’ll be sent down along with one of our staff.

Hi Sumit, we have cloakroom facility to keep extra luggage in most of the treks. Go through important points on the particular trek page to know more.
whats offloading ? and why it is required ?
Offloading is the act of letting a mule or porter carry your backpack, instead of carrying your own load on a trek.
In the true spirit of trekking, we recommend offloading ONLY when you have a genuine medical issue, you start facing any AMS symptoms or if you are an elderly trekker and have trouble carrying your backpack.
are there separate tents for ladies and gents?
Yes our tents are gender specific.

Yes only vegetarian meals.
You can bring your own car and park in the basecamp village. But it will be at your own risk Suhel.

No, sleeping bags are not available for rent as they are part of the trek. You’ll get it on the treks with us. :)
