  • Michel Navratil, a second-class passenger on the Titanic, tells of his father waking him and his younger brother to go to the lifeboats, and the last words his father said to him. Michel and his younger brother Edmond were later known as the "Titanic Orphans" upon their arrival in New York.
    This interview was used in the 1994 A&E Documentary, “Titanic: Death of a Dream."

    C'est vraiment dommage que vous n'avez pas laissé la version en français car moi je suis français et du coup je comprends rien à ce qu'il dit

      Je suis d'accord. Même en tant qu'anglophone, je préférerais entendre le discours en français sous-titré en anglais. Entendre les deux voix est distrayant.

      @@Vintage20thcenturyindeed. He died in January of 2001, at the age of 92. And also, he did get to see James Cameron’s epic film, as his daughter recalled “he enjoyed seeing the ship race through the ocean and break the waves the way that he remembered seeing it as a child.”
