His emotions when he hits those shots is to me why he's the goat, you can tell he was just having fun while also being ultra competitive.....and it's also why Rory is so damn boring hits an amazing up and down and doesn't even pump his fist
I thought the exact same thing! It takes me back to when I grew up watching him. One of the best athletes to ever play a sport. He inspired an entire generation and you can tell.

@@kennethbrotherson1438I honestly feel like it’s pretty chill. I’ve been playing since August and I usually shoot in the low 90s. The only thing that’s very annoying to me is putting. Constantly 3 putting inflates your score so much. If you consistently practice at the range and chipping greens, correctly, it’s pretty easy to improve, imo. The key to my swing has been correcting my alignment, posture/stance, and grip prior to initiating my golf swing. Then I focus on turning my body on my takeaway, while keeping my arms in line with my chest and maintaining sufficient width in my backswing. This keeps my swing on plane. Then transferring my weight and letting it rip.
@@brianschultz7320try keeping your head down swing the club like a pendulum when using the putter.. also you might want to try picking 3 spots on the green before the hole where you might think there’s a break ( picking out your breaks)… putting is at least 80 percent of the game. Drive for show putt for dough!
I didn't think they meant every single number in between 1 to 200. I'm impressed. Those 14yd/15yd shots by Spieth and Woods were exceptional. Just absolutely astonishing work by both of them.
Just about everything here, from a ball spinning 540 degrees around the lip to awesome chip-ins to incredible saves from bunkers to increasingly longer putts to Bump-and-runs to a seemingly endless string of Eagles... and then the Aces start coming at 123. At the very end, around 180, you start seeing ALBATROSSES. And yet, somehow, despite how exciting these are, the third one was absolutely ORDINARY.
Interesting to see the omission of Phil here. I am only through the first 100, but I don't anticipate seeing him later. He has had several incredible hole outs in his career.
Well put together video. When you think about all the golfers all playing so many shots over the course of many seasons, and all of them trying to get the ball in the hole, it's not too surprising that occasionally some shots will succeed, even from "long" distances.
The yardage changes based on the pin placement. Sometimes they also alternate tee boxes throughout a tournament. I’m guessing the 178 was a yardage to the middle of the green.
Such a cool video to play a game called 'guess the player'. You just need to cover their name in the bottom corner and maybe mute it as well... So much fun for somebody who watches golf every week for the past 20 years or so :)
Played my first game of golf 2 days ago. 9 holes, went like 16 over, not really too sure, we weren’t counting, just playing for fun. I made two chip ins from 15 and 25 yards, really proud of those. I got two pars, two bogeys, and two double bogeys.
Interesting to see where the celebrations from the golfers drop off. Under 30 yards and they are PUMPED. Exactly what they were trying to do. Beyond that and it's like "hey look at that, I got lucky"
To be this good is surreal. I think of every amazing shot I've made and I have to do that virtually all the time? Wow. This game goes beyond innate ability which obviously some of these guy's have
Why does grass go flying when they hit the ball? Are they bounding the club off the ground before they hit the ball? Never played golf but I just now noticed that most of the players knock big chunks of turf into the air when they swing
Indeed, these are called divots. Golfers hit slightly below the ball to create more back-spin, which helps the ball stop when it lands. Golfers are supposed to repair their own divots. Well noticed!
@@lucas29476 Ohhhhh okay I understand what you mean. Kind of like how you hit the cue ball low to make it come back after it hits the target ball. There’s so much more to golf than I ever knew. It’s really making me want to give it a shot but I played baseball and I already know my swing would be absolutely atrocious lol
It's weird i never hit a divot. And if i do i's not on purpose. And I'm weird I'm so used to hitting out of the rough I don't like hitting out of the fairways as much.
There was a foot mark that made the green really rough in that one spot. Putting over it would've been really unpredictable and he could've easily missed.
"get in the hole" is just absolute nails on a chalkboard, but yet idiots still yell it on almost every single televised shot. Even 500yd par-5 tee off's.
I was not expecting the 1 and 2 yard shots to be so eventful.
The ROAR of the crowd when Tiger not only makes it in, but makes great/legendary shots. Chills, goosebumps and NEVER gets old. 🐯 the 🐐

this is a quality quality video from PGA TOUR and major props. stepping up the content game we thank you!!
Yeah I’m NGL this is remarkably well done
Man the crowds for Tiger were just something else, everybody loved that man
that 15 yard shot from Tiger might be the best shot I've ever seen

Me. 0
They used the Alex Cejka holy-in-one twice for 177 yards and again for 191 yards. Very strange mistake.
new to golf. this sport is pretty chill
Once you play and get addicted to the sport, you'll find its not that chill.
Welcome champ
You’re doing it wrong if it’s chill little girl

When Cantlay hits a hole in one it speeds up the round by 45 minutes.
I appreciate the players who cheerfully celebrate but still have enough self awareness to acknowledge that they got very lucky
So not Rory Mcilroy
The fellas in the pro shop are gonna love this one.
Those 15 and 16 yard shots are absolutely absurd 🐐
Props to the researchers and editors for putting a huge compilation like this together!
Even knowing, still found myself cheering for every shot to go in 🤣
I could watch this every single day I should take an hour out of my day every single day just to watch these shots. So epic!!
I have a bunch of personal highlights from 2 feet and less, if you need them.
Interesting to see the omission of Phil here. I am only through the first 100, but I don't anticipate seeing him later. He has had several incredible hole outs in his career.
The Touch feel and skill to direct that ball at 150 yards+ is just an absolute gift 👍

Bro saved them from an awkward high five. Was gonna go for the fist but switched to open palm just in time. That's impressive.
"Rolling into" 2024 with EPIC positivity... well done, @PGATOUR !!!

The fact that about an eighth of those were Tiger goes to show the type of talent he is and was.
Keep in mind they used to not have cameras on every hole. But they always had one on Tiger.
Holed out for eagle from 80 yards two days ago. Showed a lot more emotion that some of the pros but I am a mere mortal 😂
Happy to see Jarrod Lyle

im just glad i lived my childhood during the Tiger Era, and hes still out slinging darts, winning.
It's so hard to get out of your own way.
My boy Jordan Spieth had the 2nd most after Tiger Woods. ❤
That 20 yarder from tiger was absolutely incredible.
this is great stuff. please make more of these videos
13:10 japanese spirit noise scared me
Technically, a Hole in One is a hole out. But there are over 30 of these hole outs that were a Par 3 Hole in One. Good video, thanks for sharing.
Tyrrell Hatton, he’s pretty spicy...
Measuring that Tiger putt in 01 at Sawgrass in yards makes it 10x more gangster
This begs the question, what is the shortest yardage for which there is no PGA Tour event hole out recorded?
Mustache man who calls out Richie is my personal favorite 14:10
46:16 a swish hole in 1 from 162 is insane!! nothin but the bottom of the cup wow
There is no way that chipping over that messed up grass was any easier than just putting it regular for JT lol
How about hole-outs from majors that get increasingly longer (same range)?
Is that several seasons compilation?
Or had that been during only one season or a part of a season?
Casually but amazingly.
💎💎💎💎💎💎
16:03 RIP Jarrod Lyle 🤜🤛🦘🦘🇦🇺
I haven't watched all 200 shots yet, but I am rather surprised that so far through 137 shots, no Phil Mickelson!?!?!?
Damn thats crazy. Why do i feel like he has a hole out at a bunch of these distances ? 😂
Maybe because this is a PGA tour video and he’s Yknow not on the PGA tour
JT should have definitely tapped down that spike mark after his ball went in! Terrible rule though glad it’s gone!

Justin Thomas 2,3,17 yd

Tom Kim celebration was so wholesome
And the grandma celebration from Tiger woods 19 yard shot too.
@14:39 Watch the lady in the red shirt's reaction after Kisner dunks this from 58y
192 yards shot: "See it bounce on the front edge? And then watch...It disappears!" I wouldn't know, you put the graphic right over it
I was 12 inches away from a 263 yard hole out this weekend
where was Jordan Spieth's bunker shot in the Travelers victory in '17
If you ever need a worst shots compilation, I'll be in half the clips 🤣
GREAT video!
Awesome frickin frackin video yes
I know they're all going in but I'm still like 😮 in suspense
40:24 Commentators and graphic say it was 144 yards but the sign behind says 178 yards
The yardage changes based on the pin placement. Sometimes they also alternate tee boxes throughout a tournament. I’m guessing the 178 was a yardage to the middle of the green.
The oversized graphic really interferes with viewing the shots.
3:08 is amazing
Fun to watch this conpilelations

119 was the most satisfying to me😮
Sometimes I wish I was better at golf, but then I see that hat tan
Pretty cool that you can make both 177 and 191 yards on the same hole. Same shot. Like exactly the same...
#89 Nice shot Robert Macintyre! (Thanks for acknowledging lefthanded players have competed in PGA Tour events.)

Epic but really should specify the club used
0:32 Thomas faces a scuff mark so bad he chips it over the top... then leaves it for the next group.
Fair is fair. 😂😂

good

34:38 is the most impressive.
how about tiger?
Stops at 200 yds lol - @Matt Scharff
My boy Matt is a legend. He's too Good Good anyways. 😂
Why did you stop at 200 yards?? Mine should have been the next one from 201. Houston Open 2nd round 2022 hole 4.
My logic:
If you can make it from 1 yard then 2 yards is possible and if 2 yards is possible so is 3 and so on.
This video is better than most.
Happy Gilmore completed that feat no more that an hour ago
Did someone fix the spike mark after Thomas' 2 yard shot?

Ikr 😅
