    The way Francis was able to obliterate President Walker’s psyche was crazy. That was a new level of manipulation.

      He was lucky, he threw the stone (letter of regret) without any guarantees it would touch President Walker's heart.
      It was all an act of Frank as he burned the letter after it worked.

    The way Frank owns and manipulates people (his power) is attractive, but don't try to be like him.
    1. You won't be able to
    2. At some point you'll wake up and realize how many horrible and unethical things you've done. Good luck dealing with the guilt.

    • @fromthedumpstertothegrave3689
      @fromthedumpstertothegrave3689 3 года назад +19

      Having been close to someone highly emotionally manipulative I can definitely agree with this. It was the type of person who had no problem saying anything if it got them what they wanted or acting utterly crazy. I remember once thinking "Right, we'll see who's most crazy."... It's always going to be them. If you have a grain of morality or goodness more than them you'll loose at playing them at their own game.
      Only way to win? Don't play. Exercise these people from your life where at all possible and if unable to do that reduce any influence they have over your thoughts or actions.

    I’m late to the video but you have got many things spot on. I have cluster B personality disorder which I think I got from my father. Many normal people won’t ever be able to do what frank underwood does. I realised my manipulative ways and how I was different from others in the past year. I’m 26 so this was a late diagnosis. Tbh being manipulative and using people to get ahead hasn’t done me much other than get a social circle, but I haven’t been put in a position to try. Maybe in the future in the business world but like other things I may need to re train. I don’t think I’m evil though lol. Just very selfish. Also being the quietest in the room is the best tool on how to read people. I did have a neglected childhood which I think shaped me into the person I am.

    Pro Tip: If you need to watch this kind of videos to become a manipulative person, you can't be a manipulative person. Accept the truth, you can not lie to people. Even if you play games behind people, guilt will kill you. You can't be this person later in your life. Again, accept the truth and live a happy life. Some people meant to be introverts.

    • @PowerMatrixAnime
      @PowerMatrixAnime  3 года назад +11

      It's useful to know how others manipulate you and how you manipulate yourself. And by the way, introverts are some of the most manipulate people i have ever met. I agree with the guilt. It's not easy to do what you are not socialized to do or to hurt others.

    1. He appears as a team player. When President called him he accepts the president offer so as to appear himself as a team player. If he had refused and shown emotion he could kill his ambitions.
    2. Beware of the Gatekeeper and influencers. One of Frank ways of manipulation is to figure is main target of manipulation and the gatekeeper. To Frank, the Gatekeeper is the one who has access to the president. Then he moves them to his side or wins them over through favour, subtle manipulation & by forcing their hands. Frank learns about the people manipulating his target for several reasons: 1. to know his target, 2. to learn their tactics on what works on the target of manipulation. 3. It provides the opportunity in serving temporary alliances & and it doesn't put him in the range of fire

    • @sportsnewz5608
      @sportsnewz5608 2 года назад +2

      3. Use selective truth. Sometimes when dealing with over suspicious its better to come clean. Frank did it on his own term.
      4. Generosity its own form of power. Generosity is ambition. After a security guard was suspended due to accidentally firing a gun, Frank gave him his job this saved his life. The security guard saved Frank's life from an assassination attempts

      Or the American equivalent of House of Cards ;) It was originally a british show about a guy who was cheif whip (I believe) making their way up to prime minister. Though the british show didn't have the same tone of dark humour, so I can see where the yes minister comparison comes from.
