we do some of these unsubconciously, because we either need something or want something to happen and sometimes about more than 5 of these tactics we do to get what we intend, we have the ability to manipulate, use it wisely
The thing is, we use this all the time. All of us. Its actual social interaction subdivided in all its categories and what they can be used for. Wether to use it for good or evil is the difference between individuals, not the techniques we use, daily, all the time, in every social interaction.
🔥I agree 100%!

I work with a manager that has all eight traits of OCPD. He rushes everything without a plan, sends everyone on goose chases, and won't even tell you where the goal posts are. I used to try to ask him fundamental questions that I would ask myself or a client on any project, and he would freak out and treat it like I was questioning his authority... I mean like "Who is the client? What is the clients goal/use?" type of questions.
managers are afraid of a lot of things for no real reason

I just wanted, out of curiosity and as a joke, to compare what my mother does to me and then I realized... holy shit, this ended up too depressing (10 of these she does).
Thanks for the advice, bro!

Great video,well done
I was waiting for a couple to show up. Maybe they fit into other categories? One that comes to mind is how manipulators move parameters in order to change perspectives. For example, the device merchants use to calculate tips you "ought to" leave will show 15% tips as a minimum and, like, 30% tips as a maximum in order to make tipping "only" 15% look cheap. People will choose a middle tip amount such as the selection for 22% that populates on the device in the middle of the other amounts. However, 15% is actually a rather high tip and the device ought to show 5% to 15% with 10% in the middle. Most tipped people make more per hour after tipping than the people paying them do.
thank you for the tutorial
Very informative right?
@@PaintMyMind No, he didn't say it was informative in the first place nor did he imply it. Are you off your meds again? (Gaslighting)

manipulation is inherent to human social interaction. each person on earth has their own bias, morals, and beliefs that they think are correct/superior to what they oppose, and therefore want to share what they think is "right" with other people in hopes of convincing them to adopt those beliefs. the more people think like you, the more friends you make based on common interests, and the more people that share your beliefs, the more you feel comfortable in the world as it helps reinforce your preconceived notion that your way of thinking is "the correct one."
@ExplainedSimply; Brilliant video! I think you've covered many tactics we now observe clearly in retrospect. Quick request, I notice your video ends at the 'love bombing' item your reference page for the presentation shows. Any chance you can edit or do another on the remaining items? (i.e. changing the subject, playing on insecurities etc. to threats or coercion). Again, excellent work 👏👍
Maybe give yourself more than 8mins if needed. Valuable info deserves the time 👍

Most Religions, especially Christianity, use these tactics, especially the "Reinforcement of Guilt" tactic!
Has it ever been used against you?
@@ExplainedSimply_ Oh yes indeed!!! I was raped and abused by my brother at age 7, and thereafter, my parents used guilt manipulation and especially gaslighting against me, because they could not accept what happened to me! I was so desperately unhappy at that point that I attempted suicide,(luckily I survived 50 years later)
we are trying to remove that but we keep telling me the dev stops us from patching it out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Guess they havn't got it
All religions will fail. People will fall. Christ will remain forever.

lot of those are used by sociopaths and psychopaths, mostly the blaming others - reinforcement of guilt and social isolation. also this video could be used by bad people to be more skilled in manipulation of people.
