Hi lovely ladies. I hope you are all well. Do you have favourite ways to transition your more summery outfits to more autumnal ones? I'd love to hear your ideas. Lots of love. Deirdre. XX
Hi Deirdre. I too love your tips. I am 73 & will never be ready to look "old"! I have completely revamped my wardrobe incorporating your recommendations with mix-&-match in mind. This time of year, I love low heel ankle boots.
I'm 64 years old and I love all your ideas for mixing pieces and looking great. Here (🇨🇦) Fall can be short lived so I want to take advantage of all the looks I can create before snow comes. Thank you!
@@50FabulouswithMyFriendDeirdre I wish I lived in California, alas I'm in Canada where winters can come suddenly, sometimes even in October. So far, the weather has been warm during the day so I take advantage of it. 😊
@@50FabulouswithMyFriendDeirdre Fall, although short, is beautiful with all the leaves wearing yellow, orange, red and brown. Summers can be very hot. Winters are cold, sometimes reaching -40 celsius in January and February. Springs are muddy in the beginning but May can be beautiful and warm. I might be visiting the UK next year, if everything goes to plan.
I love either black or navy with white, and tan accessories, they are so classic. My silk slip skirts are basics in my wardrobe, they are so very comfy.
Loved video and advice 😊 im not old ,,but nearly 70 do not want to look it. !!! Love the easy presentation of your great styles ,thanks so much Deidre ❤❤
Deirdre another knock out of the park video. I love how you show us how out things together we have already. SY “hi” to Scott. Hope you both have a fabulous week Blessings Hugs Love Victoria ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Deidre, thanks once again - so useful to see the mix of pieces being put together to make great looks. That touch of elevation to each outfit adds a smarter edge and it makes a huge difference. Autumnize and Springify - I love that! So sweet to catch a tiny glimpse of La Chanel, adored that little swish of her ultra glamorous tail! xx
Thanks Margaret. Little Chanel is very particular in which videos she likes to be involved but she loves the moving into autumn looks because they fit with her own furry colour scheme!! Xx
Deirdre I love the donkey brown Tweed blazer from Marks & Sparks & the horsebit loafers too. Retired lawyer, can't stay away from blazers, loafers & mules.
I love all of these outfits. I’m 62 and wear t-shirts most of the time and wear either sneakers or sandals depending on the weather. You’ve inspired me to create a capsule wardrobe and change up my clothes. Love the black blazer. I think it totally upgrades the whole outfit. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Deirdre, a lot of interesting ideas and outfits, especially on you 😉! I like to see, in your videos, how the flowers in the vase change according to the season, I also love little Chanel peeping out. I share with you the love for Greece, too! and the love and respect for animals and nature! 🌸 I would like to see a video in which the outfits have (even in small touches) the warm colours of the autumn: warm orangey-pink, salmon, ocra, ruggine, terracotta, bruciato, verde oliva, marrone…. Thanks! 🤗👍
May I guess that you are Italian?! I love these colour terms with an Italian twist. I also love all the colours you mention to be honest. I will bear them in mind to include. Thanks so much. XX
Just love your Chanel Deirdre you always give practical and very stylish options and love your bubbly personality. Living in Australia this video was very helpful going the opposite from winter to spring but it feels like summer here already! Thankyou😊
Thank you so much! So glad it was helpful. You are so lucky to be going into summer! We kind of missed out on summer here in the UK - the weather has been awful. XX
Enjoyed the outfit styles and I had all pieces in my closet. The one missing piece were the lightly patterned trousers. So I pulled a pair of athleisure slacks in bright pink and added a pink handbag. It all flowed well. I just am not drawn to tweed or patterned trousers. All else went perfectly as usual. Have a glorious week. ❤
As always a great video, I wore my jeans and a white linen shirt today for brunch date, tan sandals and bag, thanks for the advice , , I can’t thank you enough for giving me the confidence to get out there and enjoy life again ❤
Hi Deirdre, On your advice I just bought the Boden white tee shirt and I absolutely love it. Wearing it today for the first time for lunch with friends. Keep up the brilliant videos. Lol x
Hello Deirdre! As I live in Portugal and autumn is usually mild, so I opt for blazers and pieces of clothing very similar to the ones you wore in the video. I love autumn and its warm colours! Bye. 🍁🍂🍃
Hi There Deidre Loved the video on transitioning ....A Big Thankyou for mentioning us here in Oz & NZ yes we are heading into our Spring....but all the pieces you have shown work well with our seasons here, especially for me living in South Australia, as we definitely have chilly winters, & hot summers, in fact some days we can all four seasons in one day!!!!...finally chanel made an appearance!!!! her outfit was gorgeous very fluffy!!!!!.....thanks for the time you put into these videos much appreciated.....look forward to your next one!!!!!...from Margaret in South Australia (by the beach!!!)
I really enjoyed this video Deirdre thank you so much for sharing with us I always watch but this is the first time I’ve commented thanks once again 👍🥰
Thanks Deirdre, I’m all sorted now for early autumn. Shopped my closet and had most of your suggestions. Just nice to have someone else’s take on putting things together. Moda in Pelle do some great loafers too. Love all your looks. 🌸
I live in Australia and we are in Spring now although getting quite unseasonably high temperatures for this time of year. It is a fickle season as the days can be quite warm but the nights still cool so is hard to know what outfits to wear especially when going away. It is good now to be able to put the “winter woollies” away and wear clothes that will cool the body down for the long hot months ahead. Australia is not fun in summer.
I look forward to your videos so thank you. You have a fabulous ability to really demonstrate how to achieve a certain look, so that we can all do it. So much appreciated Deidre.
😘thank you darling, you are fabulous as always🥰 I always watch your videos, and I like them so much. They are very inspirational and motivating. So good to see you every week🤩🤩
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Thank you for another inspiring video … you have pointed me to pairing / combining items already in my wardrobe to dress appropriately for the changing season. Love love your style (ps I often screen shot combination of outfits I particularly like to have a memory aid for when I need to look particularly ‘dressed’) 🌻
I so enjoy your videos, and this one was no exception. Loved the looks you created but the only one I didn't care for was the pairing of the black loafers with the slip skirt. To me, they looked too heavy for that skirt. Thank you for sharing these styles with us! ❤
Love all these tips, I’m doing Excatly what you suggest today jeans and a little jacket, much better than a fleece ! Which I would have done a while back!! Please could you do a video on winter coats etc, for the shorter woman etc, I’m totally lost on this!
I enjoy your videos very much! (they are my breaktime) I have gleaned many ideas for my wardrobe from you. Just have to ask - what do you do to keep in such fabulous shape??
Another great video Deirdre. I have just actually been looking at the black satin slip skirt on the marks Spencer online site. I an normally a UK size 10 but wondering if the slip skirt is true to size or better worn slightly bigger size 12.? I do have a slight tummy. It was great to see how you styled it with different shoes. Xx
Another informative video Deidre - thank you. As Im just 5 ft with "heavy" thighs I feel more balanced wearing a chunkier/non flat loafer and trainers (Russell and Bromley my go to). Im thinking of purchasing a pair of high top platform Converse to wear with ankle jeans/slip skirts/knitted dresses (Im 61). Any thoughts 🤔😊
Hi Lorraine, That sounds like a good idea but, as you are 5' (I understand the slightly height challenged issue!) I wouldn't go for really chunky Converse as they may overwhelm you. I like the idea though, just check how they look proportionally. XX

I started wearing blazers…last year! I cannot believe myself. Those are the best transitional pieces ever.
Absolutely! They're really versatile and a perfect in-between piece. XX
I love the black and white outfits plus the cream blazer with jeans, but i loved them all.

Good tips! Look two trousers I call Prince of Wales check, which I love. ❤

I "get" add "trainers", but there are too many cute fashion and good comfort shoes out there to not have a choice.
No not black loafers with the midi skirt, looks too heavy in my opinion, the slides look much better.
I am looking for over 50 models wearing these nice clothes. Disappointed. Not convincing , sorry😏
