I like these comparison videos, but I would love to see how they held up throughout the day and even day 2. I also seem to get great results immediately after diffusing with most products but still haven't found that holds decently into day 2
So the silicone that is in the Ouidad stuff is a PEG-dimethicone, which means it's a water-soluable type of silicone and won't cause buildup like normal silicones do. Some people with very low porosity hair will sometimes still have problems with PEG silicones building up but as long as you're using a cleanser once in a while it'll be fine.
I love the BounceCurl side! I've seen some ads of their products but never considered buying it. Now I definitely am. I'm completely new to curly hair - I always blow dry my hair straight because I have this frizzy thing to work with after showering. So I thought... why not try Devacurl gel once to see what it does. I’ve been using the bounce curl shampoo, conditioner and light cream gel. I pair the gel with the It’s a 10 lite leave in conditioner and I’ve liked my results so far. I’m not too much of a fan of the bounce curl hair spray but ive seen a lot of people rave about it. I haven’t tried any Oiudad products yet but will soon. I love your videos!
Hi Kelly. Do you get similar results when you refresh. I do a Ouidad cocktail of the cream and gel of the climate control and that has been the best I have found so far. Refreshing has been the hardest thing for me.

It's the only ones that I use that don't give me much frizz and I love the way it lifts my roots. Please do tuturorial on the Devadryer and Devafuser... 😘😘😘
mygenevab I broke it! 😭😭 That’s why I haven’t used it in my videos in so long. I accidentally dropped it off my bathroom counter numerous times and now it doesn’t blow hot air anymore. And it’s pretty expensive to buy another one, so since my con air one works fine, I’ve just been using that
Would you say the Devafuser attachment is worth the investment? I don't mind spending money on something that's worth it :) But it's always good to hear from others :)
@@cbrownes the Devafuser had been worth it to me. The regular diffusers that I've tried make my hair too frizzy and my curls too tight. My hair likes my Devafuser. I don't know what it is about it but it makes my hair look shiny and I have really dry and frizzy hair.

Honestly I don’t see much of a difference between both sides of your hair. Bounce Curl side has more shine. I’m not a fan of the Bounce Curl gel by itself- not enough hold. I tried the Devacurl Super Cream, then Bounce Curl gel and then Devacurl Ultra gel last and this was a good cocktail. I also prefer the Bounce Curl gel as a refresher since the hold is very light.

But it’s funny, over the last 2 months I got my hair done by 2 different popular stylists, and when I asked them if I should dye my roots they both said no. They said it’s the trend now to have a “shadowy” dark roots look when you have lighter hair on the bottom. I think my roots are too long now and I do wanna color them. I just thought it was interesting that both stylists said the same thing lol
Hey, yes sorry I wasn’t very clear on that. The Ouidad one has PEG/PPG-17/18 Dimethicone in it, and this kind is water soluble. But regular dimethicone is not. 😊
