Another great super group. Ted Nugent, Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Tommy Shaw (Styx) along with drummer Michael Cartellone (now playing drums with the current Lynyrd Skynyrd). I saw them in concert Sept 18, 1991 in Jacksonville, FL. The tickets were around $20 each. Loudest concert ever! It was a real privilege seeing these guys play.

The guy on the guitar is none other than Ted Nugent, the motorcity madman. Love this band.

I’m always amazed when finding a reaction to this song as to how few people comment on the reverse angle of the guitar (From the inside looking out). That has to be the best part of the video. Granted, this super group was outstanding, they were short lived. Just like the Traveling Wilbury’s and the Highwaymen.

Ted Nugent is the guitar player you're talking about. You should see him in the live version of this!!!

1990 was such a year. I was 23. The Berlin wall had fallen. The USSR was disbanding. And peace looked like it was finally here at last. How wrong was I? but truth is, I'll never forget that optimism. Great band, great song.

They only have two albums but what's there speaks for itself.
This "SUPERGROUP" got together, and Tommy asked what name they should use and Uncle Ted said, "I don't know about you, but we look like a bunch of Damn Yankees"
    Tommy my man 😎
When I was in my truck this album was playing😁

I discovered this song recently too. Didn't care much for the Yankees but songs like this one and High Enough are amazing. Too bad the rise of Grunge spelt the end for bands like these, they even explained they were paid a lot of money by their company to stop recording.

    Great band with uncleTed!
Some (guitar) suggestions you'll love :
Estas Tonne - The song of the golden dragon. (live version on Liebenstein channel)
Roy Buchanan - Five string blues (audio only).
Death - Voice of the soul
Peter Green's Fleetwood mac - Oh well parts 1 and 2 (listen to the album versions)
    Buckethead - Soothsayer. Or 'Jordan'.
Lili Haydn - Maggot brain (live 2011)
Eivør - Falling free (live at the old theater in Torshavn)
Funkadelic - Maggot brain (do the album version....but great live stuff too)
Walter Trout and the Radicals - Broken heart (live 42 24 08)

Back then they were paid millions of dollars do not make a third album. They were too loud for main stream rock and rool is what they were told.
