- it's my first time EVER playing a final fantasy game and i have been having a blast! i heard great things about final fantasy vii remake and thought to give it a try. this is one of my first RPGs i've played as well, and i'm ready to dive more into that genre, especially more into final fantasy games!

I first saw your content here with chapter one of FF7R and then like a stalker followed you to twitch for more. The charm, wit, cute laughter just added even more to the world of FF7 . Subscribed and sub'd, will follow. Glad your covering FF OG, but boy that is a lot of FF7 in such a short amount of time. At least I had 25+yrs to absorb the trauma, happiness, and love that is the great story of FF. Keep some tissues handy.

Really enjoyed this video! You are the first streamer I have seen that had any sort of reaction about Cloud inevitable demise (explained by the president at 32:46). I honestly think this is one of the most emotional scenes in the game as Tifa realizes that Cloud's is actually slowly dying, and implicitly she also realize that he wants to be there for her as his days are counted. And it also affects Barret who, at the end of the Air Buster Fight, says: "I was wrong about'cha". One thing is certain with FFVII and its Remake; it has very carefully crafted- dialgue. Short but effective, with a lot of emotions "between the lines"... Very few people seem to pick up on this scene though, and I don't know why.

recently replayed this with my daughter and this part was hilarious. if you take Cloud to go rest with Tifa in the party. he wakes up and shes just standing in the corner watching him lol.
Watched you fight the airbuster and it looks like you got the hang of switching characters as you select an action for your current character. A lot of first timers who are further in the game haven't quite gotten that yet, so when I saw you do it I was like "oh nice, she's advanced" haha
I also just started playing this week and omg the game is so sad later on with one character losing their life .

42:08 Remake is technically a sequel of the original FF7 game, so in here Cloud remembers stuff that happened with Aerith in the OG
It's kinda like reincarnation
Aerith is the one that knows everything already, Cloud sometimes has little flashes of what happened the first time but Aerith knows, and she sometimes accidentally says things she shouldn’t know.
Like when she says to cloud “you’re a merc right?” And he says “how do you know that?” And she try’s to think of an excuse and says “uhhh, I guessed…..because of the sword”, it’s actually because she already knows who he is.
Or when Tifa is about to ask Aerith to save Marlene, Tifa says “you need to go to seventh heaven to…” and Aerith interrupts and says “save Marlene, right?” And Tifa gives her a confused look, as if to say “how do you know that’s where Marlene is?”.
And after she finds Marlene she mentions that Barrett is Marlene’s dad but there’s no way for her to know that, she’s never met Barrett and no one has said Marlene is his daughter.
She already knows all this stuff because it’s happened before.
